   • Last spoke with Joe Paterno when he had a meeting to announce his retirement

   • Met Paterno at PSU camp for high school students and talked with Paterno there

   • Team stayed focused through adversity this year

   • Not fair that Tom Bradley is gone after giving 30 years to Penn State

   • Some forget all the good Joe Paterno did for the school and the program

   • Paterno gave his life for the school and the students, not just the players

   • People shouldn’t overlook his accomplishments

   • Students feel the board and others turned their back on PSU due to frustration

   • After Paterno announced retirement, team felt like they were losing control

   • Paterno down to earth, very humble and wanted all players to be better people

   • Always pushed the players but reminded them they were blessed

   • Was always at squad meetings and attended every practice

   • Players would be called out but Joe often used humor to do it

Quinton Coples | North Carolina Tarheels
Quiton Coples, North Carolina - South

   • Dressed up; was very well spoken; should excel in interviews

   • Thanks the Senior Bowl for the recognition and invitation

   • Wants to go out and have fun this week

   • Been working on position drills and conditioning

   • Wants to see what the NFL is looking for by working with coaches

   • Will probably stick at defensive end this week instead of moving around.

   • Feels can be 3-4 outside linebacker; working on dropping back into coverage.

   • Has no preference between 3-4 or 4-3; commented more teams are moving to 3-4

   • Fought through adversity during his college career

   • Stood up for certain blitzes and can do it in the NFL
