  • Terrill Byrd, DT, Cincinnati

Was wondering what you guys think about him? a bit short at 6'1" but at that position it gives him natural leverage, good athlete who is very very strong(believe me, I played against him in HS.) Was 1st Team All-Big East last year as a soph. Kind of surprised he's not even ranked according to Scott, heard someone on ESPN call him a Top 5(not saying I agree) DT in the nation.

Don't know much about him - but can address one thing: Scott doesn't rank Juniors until they declare...
    TD 2011 catch-phrase: "explosive"

      I don't know if he's top 5...

I think he has some questions about him...

First off he's undersized (not height, he's only around 270-280 playing weight.)

I think He could with this season and next to be a day 1 pick, but next year I think the top 5 Juniors are..

      Fili Maola, USC
      Terrance Taylor, Michigan
      DeMonte' Bolden, Tennessee
      Myron Pryor, Kentucky
      Jeff Owens, Georgia

IMO. I'd put him in the top 10 next year, but not top 5 yet.

      Yeah, I play WoW too.[/CENTER]

On the preseason draft special on ESPNU, it was speculated that he would be the #1 DT prospect for the 09 draft.

Boston College's BJ Raji is gonna be in that class as well, he's redshirting this years and playing in 2008.
