Why would Tuberville leave Auburn for Texas A&M?

I'm having trouble understanding that as well.

I don't understand either why Tuberville would want to leave Auburn. I also don't think Butch Davis will leave UNC.

Well, when he was here as DC, we were 10-0-1. He liked working for R.C. Slocum and if he were coach here he could do that again. I don't think he will leave Auburn but I have my hopes up.

I have been hearing that A&M is putting it out there that Auburn better be ready to pay Tuberville "Nick Saban" type of money to keep him.

Some of the names that have been popping up for A&M have been hilarious...Rich Rodriguez, Steve Spurrier, Tedford, etc...

Tuberville does have some Aggy-ties but he also has a reported $6M buyout w/ Auburn and if I were Tuberville, I would have to receive a considerable raise before I move to College Station.

I think Butch is looking for the first bus out of Chapel Hill. Unless, Carolina can pony up more money for him and an stadium/facility upgrade I think he he's as good as gone to either TAMU or Arkansas.
