Not bad, but I think Malcolm Jenkins deserves it over Talib or Cason.

not stat wise. I dont think the AP takes into account shutdown corners, even though they should.

Who ever would have thought Jamie Silva would be a 2nd tea, All-American, he was BC's last offered player in his class and it was because they wanted him to play special teams (and also sign another local kid). He turned out to be quite a find for the Eagles.

Michael Oher got robbed. He should have made at least the 3rd team and maybe even 2nd. I watched him against LSU and he dominated their D-Line.

Yea I was just gonna say that, he was absolutely dominant all season long. He made Kirston Pitman and Tyson Jackson both his ***** all day, and whenever he got the chance to hit Dorsey he destroyed him. Dorsey finished the Ole Miss game with 1 tackle, and he played the whole game He got basically no recognition for his performance this season, and there were a few games (Auburn, LSU, Alabama) where he dominated like I have never seen an offensive lineman dominate before.

Oher was a 1st team All-American in my opinion, but for him not to get second or third team is ridiculous. Anyone who has seen him play would know that.

Eh, he wasn't that dominant against LSU. He had a good game, but nothing amazing.

I dont know, I have not seen this LSU defensive line healthy and get pushed off the line of scrimmage too many times this year. It sure looked like it was happening when they came to Oxford.

Regardless, call me a homer but I think Oher deserved at least second team AA this season. He doesn't have the name of Jake Long but he is a great prospect and pretty dominant college lineman.
