  • We've learned a few things from the past page:

    1) Joe Haden is either insane or the Browns are, well, the Browns and really do suck. Most likely a bit of both.
    2) Dominique Easley is a dumbass. I mean, if anything Powell is LeBrown, Floyd is D-Wade, and he gets to play Bosh when the three of them have their tea party. Meyer's got a handful this year.
    3) Chris Rainey just became even cooler, and my draftnik crush has expanded.
    4) SF912 and I have to work on our e-subtlety.

When does football start? MOTH said SCAR has it's game this upcoming Thursday, right? Hooray!
    Still Team The Ke$ha!!!

Georgia running back Washaun Ealey, who led the Bulldogs in rushing last season, was arrested early Friday morning on misdemeanor charges of hit and run and driving with a suspended license.

      • That sucks, **** your life UGA. He looked really good late last year and I know a ton of people are really high on him.

        • BLLAAAHHHHHHHHH.

Anyone in Athens will gladly drive you where you want to go, Washaun. It's not even a big city.

UGA also needs to take a team trip to the DMV and get things figured out. We sure do have a lot of players driving things without the proper licensing.

          • Kids just keep feeling more and more entitled, I guess.

            • I wish I could say I'm surprised. UGA has become the King of legal problems surrounding the football team. I've met Ealey and he comes across as the kind of athlete who thinks he can do whatever he wants without consequenses. Mark Richt's seat is starting to warm up.

Rivals breaks down the top 25 WRs in the country. That's not important. Here's what is.

Are you serious? 237 pounds? He's enormous!
Alshon Jeffrey is a monster. 237 is good for him.

                • Word from the Bama practice field in the final practices before they tee it up vs. San Jose St. As a hardcore Tide fan living in San Jose I can't wait.

Best news is Hightower is sideline to sideline stuffing the run in his new position & his knee is none the worse for repair. Also great news is that PK Foster missed a 52-yd FG but made another 52-yarder, 50-50 is an improvement as the kicking game was the area of greatest concern.

Good luck on your appeal though. Recently, Vols freshman WR Justin Hunter, my fave among the WR recruit crop last year, was cleared to play by the NCAA after one of his internet classes was flagged. Hopefully ya'll get the same kind of favorable turn.

Sucks for Ingram, but Bama will be fine with Richardson.

                          • After the news of arthroscopic surgery on the Heisman winner's left knee this morning the line on San Jose St. @ Alabama just dropped to SJ St. +38, LOL.......

                            Some thoughts:
                            • Subtract Ingram from the 2010 Heisman chase, Richardson was going to eat into his carries anyway
                            • Thank God it's minor, if the diagnostic surgery had revealed anything serious it would have been released by now -- EDIT: The meniscus was cleaned out, no ligament damage. Surgery performed by famous sports medicine surgeon from Birmingham Dr. Andrews' protege Dr. Cain.
                            • Trent Richardson is now THE MAN for the Crimson Tide ... maybe add the soph's name to the Heisman race if he stays healthy.
                            • Hopefully this won't add up to too much of a distraction or they start looking past Wk. 1 to Penn St. at Wk. 2 since they have this cushion of the SJ St. game to determine any offensive changes.
                            • My team's 2 best players are gone with the season 4 days away; maybe the luck has turned, lucky breaks are big factors in the top tier of BCS programs success or failure, Bama was due with regard to injuries & suspensions.
                            • Still not counting out a repeat NC season for the Tide, & that says a lot about the talent Saban has stockpiled there.
                            • Not too worried about Penn St. b/c Bama is @ home & the Lions have an inexperienced QB while Bama has an experienced one, & I don't think their defense will have answers for Richardson or Julio Jones.

Without him the Rebs are in offensive trouble

And Gurley has to be 235 opposite him. haha. I wouldnt sleep on Gurley, the guy should have been starting all year and he should have had about 5 more Tds. haha. All called back because of penalties.

Hopefully Ace Sanders can eventually man that slot role and then just wow. We're so deep at WR.
