Brian Robison (drafted 3rd round by Minni) was a 1 star coming out of Splendora, TX.

Michael Johnson biggest disappointment ever, he was supposed to be what Reggie Bush was. His 4.26 forty made me drool, I was so ecstatic when he turned down offers from Miami, Florida, Tech, etc...

My team played against Jim Unis (#100 on that list) when I was a freshman and he was a senior. He was absolutely amazing. His career was ended by concussions at the beginning of his sophmore season, after starting as a freshman. If anyone saw the Army AA game that year he was one of the best players on te team. I wish he never got hurt, he could've been something special.

There are a lot of those "what could have been" cases in this class, a lot of top recruits who just never did anything.

Texas and Ohio State had the top 2 recruiting classes that year. Both lived up to the hype. Troy Smith and Vince Young were both great players for each team. In 2005 Texas was the best team, OSU the 3rd best or so. In 2006 Ohio State was #2 and Texas was pretty good too.

Hawk was a 3 star nobody. He turned out to be the best LB in that class.

Manny Lawson was a 2-star from this class. To lesser impression, so was Bazuin.

2 Star QBs = Alex Smith, Colt Brennan
                  0-star QB = Jared Zabransky!

FSU had 3 players in the top 10, 4 in the top 16. Im sure FSU was ranked in the top 2 by many recruiting services....

a shame how some of their careers turned out
