***Recruiting Forum Rules - READ BEFORE POSTING***

The recruiting forum has gotten out of hand and we need to fix this right now. I admit that I myself may have slipped up in the past, but not anymore. The recruiting forum is not exempt from the rules for the rest of the forums. This is not a new rule, just a clarification of an existing one.

Links:

No factual information can be posted without a link to the source of that information. This means any time a player commits to a school, names a leader, drops a school from his list, etc. you must provide a link with your post. If you do not have a valid link supporting your information then keep it to yourself. Obviously, you don't need to link to your own personal opinions. Just make it clear that they are your opinions.

Acceptable Sources:

Most online newspapers and websites are acceptable. No premium information (info that you pay for) is to be posted. The only exception to that rule is if the information you are posting is in the header of a premium article, which is free for all to read. If the information is hidden behind the words "click here to subscribe," then don't even bother. Websites such as Buckeye Planet, IrishEvy, and MGoBlog are acceptable. However, only information from the articles/interviews/blog posts from these sites are permissible. Any information obtain on one of these sites' message boards should be assumed to be unreliable (even if you yourself trust it). Anything posted on Facebook is private information and should be treated that way.

Disciplinary Action:

Since this is a fresh reminder, everyone gets one freebie. The first time you break this rule, you will have your post deleted and that is it. If you break it a second time, your post will be deleted and you will get a warning. If you ignore the warning and break it a third time, you will receive an infraction.

Remember, these are Scott Wright's rules not mine. We want everyone to still have fun, but we can't keep ignoring the rules of the website.

      • I think Royce is getting a lot of offers because teams really want Terry Richardson. They aren't necessarily a package deal, but I think they would both like to play together in college. Royce is a good player in his own right, but I don't think he's as good as his offer list suggests.

Is Richardson that good? I'm way of short corners. I don't like them at all.

          • ND gets commit #2.....OH OL Taylor Decker. I think Keylime pretty much called this one.

I don't watch a lot of high school film, so I couldn't give much of an educated opinion. However, it has been said that he's easily the best of the four most recent Cass Tech corners (remember, BooBoo was a 5* on Scout). He's got an offer list of a top 100 player as well: Alabama, Iowa, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pittsburgh, UCLA, and USC. I haven't seen it confirmed, but I think he has Oregon too.

That's a weird offer. I don't think too many Minnesota kids grow up dreaming of playing for Auburn.

On the other hand, I hear that an offer for Pirsig is in the works from USC. I'll be completely honest, even if Pirsig commits to Minnesota, I don't see the hype. He's Jimmy Gjere (4-star Minnesota player) with worse feet. He's not dominating in rural Minnesota, and his footwork isn't that great.

The kid is huge, but I don't see a 5-star prospect.

yeah, his coach is a regular on the OSU board. I think OSU is wanting Kyle Dodson from Cleveland to pair with Kyle Kalis (who just received an US Army AA Bowl invite this week), lucky us. Decker = elite athlete if there ever was one.

I'm definitely impressed with his potential. 6'8, 270 and he looks scrawny. Coach Longo is gonna have a field day with him.

                      • OH OL Anthony Stanko is expected to visit Penn State next weekend and is rumored he could commit on the visit. If he doesn't then he should commit soon after. I like it.

                        • GA WR Jontavious Carter commits to Miami. Don't know anything other than he's 6-4 and a diehard Cane. Tons of great WR in Florida but none that are tall. Carter to go along with Ricardo Louis, Stefon Diggs and Angelo Jean-Louis looks good.

                          That is correct comahan
