  • Scotty Dees 2008 Mock Draft 2.0

My second go. Modified Scott's order. Edited version plus second rounder should be coming during either my Tuesday or Thursday Philosophy class.

    Round two ADDED

    Mock Draft
    Round 1

    1. St. Louis Rams - Glenn Dorsey, DT - LSU

I believe Dorsey is the best player in college football.

    4. Buffalo Bills thru New Orleans Saints - Sedrick Ellis, DT - USC

    5. Atlanta Falcons - Andre Woodson, QB - Kentucky
I don't think Petrino has that much say. omgz norm chow + leinart = tennessee taking Vince Young.

Cowboys get the same touch of luck that the Vikings got this year.

11.Oakland Raiders - Desean Jackson, WR - Cal
Bad teams can't afford to make luxury picks. Miami (Ginn) being a good example of this.

I'm switching gears on my 1st round OL stance. We need help. With the top DLs all gone, an OT here makes good sense.

I'm not a big fan Talib but you did address the right need for GB

If we're going to draft a DT in the top 5, it has to be Glenn Dorsey. Ellis isnt worth a top 5 pick IMO.

In that position, I'd try to trade down farther and take Malcom Kelly/Keith Rivers/Dan Connor/Malcom Jenkins

But for everyone reading this in Buffalo and Cleveland and everywhere else, take solace in the following: As crazy as it sounds, you're lucky. Your Mount Everest experience is still ahead of you. It's waiting, and it's glorious.- Bill Simmons

          Excellent Jets pick.

            Sweet deal.

It could be a big reach, but all of our needs would pretty much be reaches here. I don't mind it

I don't like Brohm as a top 10 pick, give us Jackson or Baker there.

                I don't know, I'd still take him.

Jackson I can see but Baker is not really as good as some believe he is; I've watched him play plenty and I've never came away super impressed

I didn't want to make my mock work easy by arranging it to give you guys Dorsey. I tried to create a workable scenario and I'm glad your okay with it.

Do you have a problem with Brohm or QB in general? Matt Ryan? Baker for RT? I think there would be better true RTs.

great mia pick... may be a little soon for a defensive back though.

Dolphins Dream Draft: 1. Jaylon Smith 2. Artie Burns 3. Landon Turner

Loadholt is an intriguing pick for KC.If he leaves OU then I can see this pick happening

I've never been a fan of trading up in the 1st round, but disregarding that, Matt Ryan would be a great heir to Garcia.

Justin King is a nice pick. He is still a little raw, but he will fill in as our future #2 CB and will probably play most of his first season in the nickle, so I can't complain.
