  • New mock with some different scenarios

    1.

Best player on the board who isn't a RB.

    2.

    *
Best player in the draft, and a guy they can build an offense around.

    3.
    (from SF)
    *
Safety is an area they could get better and younger at. With former teamate Brandon Merriweather at CB it's the making of a great young secondary.

    4.

    *
3-4 defenses are built around the LB's, Gholston will be a 15 sack a year guy from his OLB position.

    5.

See you in Canton Orlando Pace, insert Jake Long.

    6.

Al Davis, "I remember when your dad was your age..."

    7.

It's easier to win with a QB

    8.

It's easier to win with a QB

    10.

The OL needs help unless they can't find a QB...sacks are better than INT's

    11.

When you have defensive ends playing LB, it's time to draft a linebacker...and a guy from a winning background.

    12.

    *
I think he would fit this offense well. He plays WR like Westbrook plays RB...you'll have to think about that for a bit.

    13.

If they could only stop the pass...

    14.

    *
22nd in the league in rushing yards per game...may as well get a running back.

    15.

    *
Edge has about reached the edge, the time is now to groom he replacement. Wiz knows how important it is to be able to run the ball. He seems like the perfect back for his offense.

    16.

If they keep drafing D linemen they might finally stop the run, maybe...and he's a big steal here

    17.

    *
A big physical WR could be the missing link to this offense.

    18.

    *
Who are the Lions starting CB's? You don't know do you, nuff said.

    19.

    *
    A pass rush would help...

    20.

    A perfect match for VY

    21.

    *
I know, another DE. But they do need a pass rush reguardless of how many former 1st rounders are on the sideline.

    22.
    (from CLE)
    *
A versatile DB is a good addition.

    23.

Some WR's would equal more points. They have the lowest points per game average among all playoff contenders. (18th overall)

    24.

He seems to be the type of LB they like.

    25.

Now, if they can figure out how to clone him for help on the other side...would that violate any league rules?

    26.

Goff reminds me of Levon Kirkland, the best 3-4 ILB I've ever seen.

    27.

Help at OLB, help as a third down pass rusher, take your pick. Big strong tough player like Del Rio looks for.

    28.

Value pick and an upgrade at LOLB.

    29.

Help in the secondary and the return game.

    30.
    (from IND)

A real good fit at DE in their 3-4. A good DE will help the LB's immensly.

    31.

    *
Alot of you I'm sure never even heard of him, but the kid can play. He's a ballhawk, and equally effective in run support. 2 DB's in the first round may seem excessive but why not, where else do they need help?

    32.

Atleast SF is terrible this year.

we never needed return help...we have Williams, Blackmon, and Robinson.

Give us Luke Robinson, if you have him coming out or Mike Jenkins.

The idea that Arizona would draft a running back would only bring a new round of laughter from me regarding the selection of J.J. Arrington.

No, I don't. Is Fernando Bryant one of them? That's all I got.

He also seems like the type of linebacker they already have.

I didn't realize Leroy Hill needed to be replaced. Oh well.

        Wide receiver if Crayton leaves.
Also, Flozell Adams isn't getting any younger.

Very mediocre Buc pick. Bowman is a good player, but isn't what the Buccaneers need at the wide receiver position.

Poor blocker who only sees the field on passing situations. Even then, he's always struggled. He has amazing talent, but he's never been able to translate it to the field. He also struggles with his concentration. Not the sharpest tool in the drawer, to be frank. Nevertheless, he has the highest YAC of our entire team and is great after the catch. He just hasn't panned out.

              I love Martin Rucker, but I don't know if he's a 1st RD value.

                  Good pick for Buffalo.
I wouldn't mind Malcolm Jenkins there either.

                    Antoine Cason > Malcolm Jenkins????

                    Why?

                    Love the Jets pick though.

Don't like the Cardinals pick, First of all RB isn't a 1st day need for us it is more of a 4th-6th round one, a guy who can be developed like Corey Boyd or Matt Forte. Secondly is think Mendenhall is extremely overrated and put up good numbers because of a weak Big Ten this year, I put him at about the same level as Ray Rice and Kevin Smith.

If Malcolm Jenkins falls to the Cardinals I would say its a lock he will be in Red next year.

Give the Ravens Andre Woodson, I personally think that Brian Brohm will end up as a flop, thats just me

                        Baltimore: 7-4

The draft has as much to do about tomorrow as it does today. By that I mean the smart teams use the draft to improve 2-3 years down the road. That makes sense since rookies don't always make immediate impacts. The Cardinals don't have a RB who averages even 4.0 yards per carry. I'm a Steelers fan so I understand what Wiz looks for in an offense. He wants to run the ball first and formost. Do you expect Edge to be the starting RB in 2009? I don't, I bet he's retired by then. I respect your opinion about Mendenhall, but the Big 10 was not weak on a defensive standpoint. He'll get his chance to show his stuff on New Year's day against USC's defense. There will be plenty of solid CB's in the 2nd round. Chevis Jackson is a perfect CB for a 3-4 defense.

Because Cason is rock solid. He would have been a top 20 pick last year. He has a text book approach at the CB position, excellent ball skill, decent size and speed. He's also a good return man which is just an added bonus to alot of teams. I evaluate CB's better than any other position. I had plenty of people telling me Darrelle Revis wasn't the top CB last year.

For the 3rd time, Cardinals pick Malcolm Jenkins if he falls to them. Get that through your head.
