  • RC's Mock - WrestleMania Edition, now with trades

The St. Louis Rams have traded the pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With the 1st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Ndamukong Suh, defensive tackle, Nebraska.

Bucs leapfrog the Lions and take the best player in the Draft.
With the 2nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select Russell Okung, offensive tackle, Oklahoma State.

With Suh gone, the Lions choose to protect their franchise QB with the best OT in this class.
With the 3rd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select Sam Bradford, quarterback, Oklahoma

Golden Rule of the NFL Draft

If you don't have a franchise quarterback, thou shall draft one.

    - Scott Wright
With the 4th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Washington Redskins select Bryan Bulaga, offensive tackle, Iowa

No quarterback can survive under that troubled offensive line.
The Kansas City Chiefs have traded the pick to the Oakland Raiders.
With the 5th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Oakland Raiders select Gerald McCoy, defensive tackle, Oklahoma

Chiefs won't take a safety that high. So they trade down, and Al Davis finally makes a good move.
With the 6th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Eric Berry, safety, Tennessee

Impressive talent to replace Deon Grant and add swagger to that defense.
With the 7th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select Jason Pierre-Paul, defensive end, South Florida

Browns need a pass rusher after trading Wimbley. And JPP is a total freak.
With the 8th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Dez Bryant, wide receiver, Oklahoma State

What's the point of paying a load of money to a QB if he has no receivers to throw to?
With the 9th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills select Trent Williams, offensive tackle, Oklahoma.

    It's all about protection.
With the 10th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Derrick Morgan, defensive end, Georgia Tech.

Jags add a much needed pass rusher and defensive leader.
With the 11th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select Rolando McClain, inside linebacker, Alabama.

This makes Denver's defense the best in the league.
With the 12th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Miami Dolphins select Sergio Kindle, defensive end, Texas

    Parcells-type of pick: defensive stud.
With the 13th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Anthony Davis, offensive tackle, Rutgers

Athletic tackle to solidify their OL.
With the 14th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Seattle Seahawks select Everson Griffen, defensive end, USC

Most people, including me, would say this is a reach. But I feel Pete Carroll will go after his guy here.
With the 15th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select Sean Weatherspoon, outside linebacker, Missouri

The Giants' LB corp needs a major rebuilding.
With the 16th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select Joe Haden, cornerback, Florida.

    So obvious it hurts.
The San Francisco 49ers have traded the pick to the San Diego Chargers.
With the 17th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers select C.J. Spiller, running back, Clemson.

    Stars replace stars.
With the 18th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Pittsburgh Steelers select Mike Iupati, guard, Idaho.

Offensive linemen to the Steelers is just like linebackers to the Patriots. It has been a need for 50 years or so.
With the 19th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select Brandon Graham, defensive end, Michigan.

Talking about the Patriots, they get screwed once again.
With the 20th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select Taylor Mays, safety, USC.

    Four two eight.
With the 21st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select Maurkice Pouncey, center, Florida.

Maurkice. What an awesome name for a Bengals player.
With the 22nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Jared Odrick, defensive end, Penn State.

At linebacker, the Pats have Tully Banta-Cain, Tyrone McKenzie and maybe Derrick Burgess. At defensive end, the Pats have Ty Warren. And just Ty Warren.
With the 23rd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers select Kyle Wilson, cornerback, Boise State.

The guy has a truck. Enough said.
With the 24th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select Earl Thomas, safety, Texas.

Eagles finally add a good safety.
With the 25th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select Jermaine Gresham, tight end, Oklahoma.

    I'm jealous.
With the 26th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals select Bruce Campbell, offensive tackle, Maryland.

Their offensive line is older than yo momma.
With the 27th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Dan Williams, defensive tackle, Tennessee.

Draft Williams, move Ratliff to DE, profit.
With the 28th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the San Francisco 49ers select Ryan Mathews, running back, Fresno State.

The Niners don't have a lot of needs, and Gore/Mathews would be a nightmare.
With the 29th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Demaryius Thomas, wide receiver, Georgia Tech.

A Bay Bay, A Bay Bay!
With the 30th pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select Jimmy Clausen, quarterback, Notre Dame.

He's no Brett Favre, but hey, he's no Tim Tebow though.
With the 31st pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select Vladimir Ducasse, offensive tackle, Massachusetts.

    Doo-cah-sey.
With the 32nd pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, the Superbowl Champions New Orleans Saints select Cam Thomas, defensive tackle, North Carolina.

    ALIVE!!!!!!! THE STREAK IS ALIVE!!!

Even though i am high on Pouncey i cant see us passing on Earl Thomas the ability to cover the TE was one of our biggest Weaknesses last year and we have one true FS on this roster in Tom Nelson

cam thomas is a insane reach in the first, clausen falling to 30 is a joke and with the way you did it its virtually impossible to check who the saints pick should have been.

          Saints 2014 draft wish list:
          - No pass rusher till the fourth round (or preferably at all)
          - Corner or Wideout in the first
          - No reaching
          - No Kelvin Benjamin

I really can't see JPP. The Browns traded Wimbley because of our depth at OLB. They may add a pass rusher in the 2nd/3rd, but I doubt they go that direction so high with Haden on the board.

<@JBond> And Dg, you'd waste it on corndogs
<@JBond> So you get no 5 dollars
<+DG> how is buy one get one free wasting?
<+njx9> i'm pretty sure your people still eat boots in north korea, bantx. they don't know what vegetables are.

Iupati is a great pick for the Steelers. I want him or Pouncey in the first at this point.

Thanks to The Dynasty for the sig

Very creative style with some intriguing trade scenerios. If McCoy slips, which I think is a possibility, the Raiders are a logical team to trade up for him, but I don't see them swinging a deal with their rivals, the Chiefs. Berry to Seattle isn't something I've seen too much, but it makes sense.

Davis is ok i guess...but Ryan Mathews is not a good fit for us..we already have two big backs in Gore and Coffee. If we went RB it would be a faster change of pace guy like SPiller or Best.
