it's not possible for Atlanta to pick behind Pittsburgh in that situation. If Atlanta loses the Conference Championship they are at worst 29th (if NE also wins) or 30th,

      Bills...

I dont like Gabbert at 3 at all, his happy feet and pocket presence IMO are not worthy of a top ten pick. I could see it though, although I still think Newton is more likely.
Smith in the 2nd... I am not sure helps the running game, his percieved likeness to Bruce Campbell by myself makes me nervous, and I think he is over rated as a prospect. I just dont see the fit, but thats just my opinion.
A WR in the 3rd would have to be one hell of a prospect that fell to make any sense for Buffalo. I see way too many players who fill needs, and have better value still available to add to one of the few strengths on this team.

Amazing first two first rounds for the Browns. Don't know anything about Ahmad Black, can anyone give me a quick rundown of him and whether or not he would be good selection in the 3rd? I can't critique someone I don't know anything about.

Pats won't take 2 RBs in the top three rounds. One maybe but we don't run 2 back sets and have 2 complimentary RBs that get the job done. An upgrade and depth there could make some sense but two is overkill.

With the #17 pick I would see them targeting Heyward over Kerrigan. DL is decimated at present and the chance to add a guy who can have serious impact at that spot is too much to pass up. We always seem to have guys to plug in along the D line that execute the primary role (tie up blockers and free LBs to make plays) but not since Seymour have we had someone there who can truly create havoc.there are other options for the rush LB later in the draft and plenty of picks to source them.

I love J Jones at the end of the first round. We have numbers at WR but his value at that point and the need for a progression plan behind Welker and Branch make it a solid pick. I would like to see some OL in there as well as the need there will be felt earlier than at WR.

            16. Jacksonville Jaguars - Janoris Jenkins, CB, 5-11, 190, Florida *
            48. Jacksonville Jaguars - Jabaal Sheard, DE/OLB, 6-4, 260, Pitt
            80. Jacksonville Jaguars - Colin Kaepernick, QB/ATH, 6-6, 215, Nevada

First off like Joe Haden last year Jenkins will not be a jaguar...Jags don't play 3-4 so Sheard wouldn't fit our systen

change the first round to Kerrigan, Heyward, or Clayborn and change the second to Ras-I Dowling or Kris O'Dowd

could not agree more with this...what kills me is taking smith in the second over von miller or aldon smith, two pass rushers that we desperately need.

With Merriman's injury history, I would prefer Aldon Smith over Von Miller, as we need a strong side guy more than a jack/weakside guy with Moats doing well at the jack this year, although I would not mind either, just think A. Smith is the better fit for this team...

Sheard's best position is Left DE in a 4 man front.

The first 3 picks are complete sex. I would rather take an OL like Jon Moffit instead of LeShoure, I am happy with our RB's even though he would be great value there. Franklin could be a nice RT prospect for us, and Havili has some upside and versatility that would be pretty nice to have but I doubt we take two backs in the first 3 rounds. With Herzlich still on the board I'd gladly take him at the end of the third.

It would be tough to argue with that haul though, nice job.
