The Bengals are going to need to take a QB with either of their 1st 2 picks.

I'm going to looke like a fool if this doesn't happen in the real NFL Draft because I say it in half the mocks on here, but if Kerrigan is there at 16 he will be the pick. He fills a need, the value is right, and he has exactly the right kind of motor that Gene Smith looks for. Unless a guy like Bowers, Quinn, or Peterson fall to them, Kerrigan is the guy.

I was actually torn on which to give there. I've been hearing that Kerrigan's lack of athletic ability is going to become 'vividly apparent' at the combine and its going to cause him to drop on a lot of teams boards. I tend to not agree but I decided to slip him a little bit for the time being.

I like Ponder in the second round for the skins - but not too crazy about Dareus in the first. Would much prefer Julio Jones...so that whatever Qb actually starts for us next year has some decent weapons to throw to. There are holes all over this skins team including defense....but I think that the major downside to the defense this year was the transition to 3-4. Usually a team suffers in their first year of making this transition. We should focus on filling some of those defensive holes in later rounds -but I think the defense, even as is, will be better this year, as they get more comfortable running the 3-4

Loooove the Dareus pick but the Ponder pick is not working for me at all in the early 2nd. way too big a reach. Any of the guys listed above would be much better picks.

Reverse of you love the Dareus pick even over Julio hate the Ponder pick. Although considering Heyward and Nevis are sitting there in the 2nd I'd love to get one of them in the 2nd and use the first round pick on Julio or possibly even Aldon depending on how he works out at LB.

That draft looks pretty good for New England, but I don't think Justin Houston is going to show up at 6'3" 258 at the combine (maybe 6'1" 245?) and may not be the kind of guy the Patriots are looking for. Akeem Ayers is a finesse player, but appears to be big enough and smart enough to potentially be a Patriots linebacker, so I would probably go with him there if you're dead set on the team waiting that long for a linebacker. He's also a team captain who has experience lining up in different spots, dropping into coverage, etc. Even better would be Ryan Kerrigan at #17, who looks like the type of linebacker who would thrive in New England - 6'4" 260, stout against the run, very smart, hard working, team captain, decorated career, senior, etc. He comes fomr the same school that produced Mike Vrabel, Rosevelt Colvin, and Rob Ninkovich. I don't think they pass on him for Watt at #17. Muhammad Wilkerson is a great projection into New England as a two-gap run stuffer at right end. His size is immediately projectable into New England's defense at 6'5" 305. I'd go Kerrigan - Wilkerson - Watkins - Cobb or Kerrigan - Wisniewski - Wilkerson - Cobb. You could even throw in Ryan Williams instead of Cobb if you think they'd potentially go in that direction, although I'd prefer Cobb myself.
