I didnt look at production and went simply by talent observation.

Um...okay. Even then I'm not sure. Besides, talent is pretty subjective as opposed to straight-up best because you can use stats to prove the point.

I'll agree that LT and AD are in a class of their own, but this 1a 1b this is laughable.

                1. LT
                2. Stephen Jackson
                3. Westbrook
                4. Portis
                5. Addai
                6. Frank Gore
                7. Willie Parker
                8. Adrian Peterson
                9. Fred Taylor
                10. Jamaal Lewis

I don't have AD as high as alot of people because he was wayy to inconsistent for my liking. He blew up for a few games but had a lot of very average games. Im a big Portis fan and really think he's proved people wrong since Denver, he's not quite the big play back whose gonna average a whole lot but he is one of the most consistent run to run guys who really helps set up short conversions.

Not a top 10 running back, but Jamal Lewis deserves some props from all the haters before the season who said he was done and sucks.

1300 yards and 8 rushing tds should earn him some credit.

So you think the Steelers are better off without Willie Parker, but he's a top 5 back in the league?

                      Make up your mind.

I think that a power back is better for them. I could see Parker being a better fit in a ZBS. He's a good back no doubt, i love FWP but the Steelers are built for the power running game...

He didn't start lighting it up till later in the season, now he's the poster boy of the league? Fickle fans maybe?

Willie Parker is good, but overrated. He has a lot of yards but 1 TD or so? That doesn't cut it.
WTF? People were calling for him to retire last year after an 1100 yard 5 TD season where he averaged 5.0 yards per carry?

Fred's been a top ten back since he's been in the league. He has one of the highest career yards per carry in league history. He's rushed for over 10,000 yards in his career. It just took till this season for people to notice him.

I remember a time when this discussion would be if Shaun Alexander was better than LT or not... guess the Madden curse is really screwing him over...
