He's a great ILB I don't see why the Jets would trade him.
scheme, he doesn't fit it, and it has been obvious for the past 2 seasons. He's played a 4-3 MLB role his entire life and 'they try to force him into a role that doesn't play to his strengths or natural abilities.' You can take this last part and throw in a few other names on the Jets D the past 2 years and they would also fit the description. Take your head out of ur ass Mangini, wake up call

You can't be a good corner if no one throws your way. Thats my way of seeing it.
I can't see us given in for a 3rd rounder for Vilma, we will push for a 2nd rounder I can see. Vilma said he would be 100% by training camp. Right now he wouldn't pass a physical, he is just starting to jog again, and soon he will be sprinting. But Vilma is taking it slow, and making sure he gets 100% for training camp. If Vilma is healthy, he is a elite MLB. He can change a defense that is weak at LB, he has speed, great coverage skills, reads plays fast, is a major leader, has amazing work ethic, and is everything you want in a player.
I'm still pulling for the Jets to pursue for a 2nd round pick over a 3rd.
