I definitely would have said Kevin Williams before AD came along.

I wouldn't really call him a face, more best player than face of the franchise. Face of the franchise is the guy who comes to mind when the team name is said. Much like the Falcons now, there really was no true 'face' of the team.

Its obviously Tony Romo now, before him? I'm not sure really, when Bledsoe was the QB I guess you could say it was TO even though he was only there shortly.

It will forever be Jerry Jones and he won't let anyone forget it.

Roy Williams--as evidenced by his Pro Bowl appearances apart from whether or not he deserved them.

you know, reading over a lot of these lists, guys who are long gone are still the first person you picture in your head when you think of a franchise if they don't have a current stud.

like, i still picture marino for the dolphins. no one theyve had since he left has even been close to his level. same goes for elways and the broncos. hes still the first that pops into my head for them.

Ala the Falcons and Michael Vick. And behind him DHall, Brooking, and Crumpler.

For the Buccaneers I think that it is pretty hard to look past Derrick Brooks.

Ehh, maybe so, he obviously didn't deserve majority of those but I don't think he was really the face of our franchise, he wasn't on tv alot doing interviews and such...At least I hope people didn't think of him as the face of our franchise.

Your right, I would agree on that front, just the same with Al Davis and Oakland, and the same could be said about Snyder and Washington.

Actually, the owner could be in play for the Falcons, too. I'd say he is more known than any of our players, considering how public he is.

I agree, Arthur Blank comes to my mind before anyone with the Falcons now, that could change with each franchise with the right player but even with the Lions Matt Millen could easily be considered the face for them, albeit not a great face but he is usually associated with the Lions more then any sole player lol.
