If Cincinnati doesn't franchise him (which unfortunately they more than likely will do), Donovan McNabb could finally get another established receiver in his career to come to Philly.

That could mean big things especially if Desean Jackson continues to progress.

What do people think of this?

That would be a sick wr corps. Curtis, Brown, Jackson, and TJ, with Westbrook coming out of the flat.. No way to double team everyone, meaning big time boom potential for someone else. If you go 4 WR with Westbrook, it would mess with your coverages. Double westbrook, would be probably the popular choice, but then everyone else would be in single coverage.

I think he'd fit in with their WR corps and compliment other guys there pretty well. If he's not tagged they obviously will be able to sign him without much of an issue if they want to pony up the cash. If they're still interested after the Bengals tag him I'm sure they could work something out. Wonder what his value would be in that case. Philly generally has liked to stay away from players as they decline so I'm not sure if they'll be interested in him since a long-term deal he'd want could take him past his prime. Still think if TJ sticks around, and maybe even if he doesn't, Cincy has a shot to make some noise next year.

as an eagles fan, I can whole-heartedly say WOO! this would rule, give donovan a true Number 1, let D-jax work the slot, Curtis at 2, Reggie at 4, and we can FINALLY get rid of the human suck that is greg lewis
Don't hate me because I'm a rutgers fan, hate me because I'm eagles and Yankees fan

That would be a huge boost to the Eagles if it's true.

So would them drafting a first round WR, but we all know that never happens.

TJ at the 1, Reggie at the 2, Jackson in the slot and Avant/other 10 WR's they have at the 4...

That would really give them a chance to take it all the way.

He meant the raiders, not the eagles :D

If the Eagles land him, they should be a top 3 team next year. If they could land a big RB with one of the 1st, this offence would be complete

The Eagles offensive line is still nothing to be amazed at.

                    They have 2 first rounders...

The defense is still young and talented.

Trade up and get the OT you want, grab another OT or G in round 2 and they're fine.

That would be sick for the Eagles but I hate them and hope they continue to struggle to get that first ring.

that would make way too much since. it'd be a perfect FA signing, and he'd be a perfect compliment to DeSean Jackson.

a big name signing in every sense of the term.

Since when did the Eagles care about bringing in a legitimate #1 receiver though?

                            -Terrell Owens
-2nd Round pick on Reggie Brown
-2nd Round pick on DeSean Jackson

I'd say they've been serious about getting a #1 reciever for a while now.

Except that outside of Owens, those two other guys were never considered #1's. They drafted guys they thought had potential to become 1's, and have failed miserably.
