  • Jim Mora needs to be back in the league.

This is just nonsense really, but this man is at least an honest coach. And he's numero uno when it comes to press conferences and sound bytes. More of an appreciation thread really. Enjoy!

I hate to say it but he wouldn't last two press conferences today.

Dude has good knowledge of the game, and very few can match his passion and love for it.

Better coach than he's given credit for.

I think fans would love him. At least he tells it how it is.

You can go up to pretty much any NFL fan and say "Playoffs?" and they know what you are talking about so epic...

Seriously. That's the best soundbyte of all time. Well maybe tied with "The Bears are who we thought they were".

Mora himself said that sometimes he's walking down the street and someone kind of notices him and they'll pass and all of a sudden he'll hear from behind "PLAYOFFS!?"

I miss when coaches and players had personalities.

Jim Mora is a classic example, he'd be fined to death nowadays if he had any of those videos happen but anyone who doesn't think they are awesome doesnt deserve existence ;)

Props to BK on the sig!

Wait, what would he be fined for? I know if he had questioned the officials he would. But if he's just venting frustration, why would he be fined?

Me too! I hate the PR-crazy NFL that exists now.

I heard an interview with the author of The Ones Who Hit the Hardest; he said that during a game, Joe Greene was so pissed off at being held and the refs not calling it that he took the football and punted it into the stands and walked off the field. And nothing happened to him.

I'm pretty sure that consistently saying "****" would get him fined eventually. Not mention the tirade against that guy who asked about the "useless game".
