    The thing I hate about books is that they cost money. Hence why our generation is going to grow up reading primarily online.

        Exactly. And libraries aren't always stacked with the greatest and most recent books. At least not where I live.

                here's a DVD everyone should watch.... Favre4ver.. Narrated by Billlybob Thorton, it's excellent.

                      I've read Emitt Smith and LT's autobiography. LT's is pretty interesting - amazing how much crap he got away with at UNC even for the time period. That program ought to be still be in trouble for all that. Smith's was pretty good - good analysis of a lot of his teammates.

                          I really dont know any good NFL books but it just felt neccesary to say that.
                          Im gonna start soon though, ill prob read the draft, everyone here seems to like it.

                              Homerism aside, Papa Bear: The Life and Legacy of george Halas by Jeff Davis is good for an overview of NFL history. It also demonstrates how/why the Bears have suffered through such incompetent management over the past 20 years (current admin notwithstanding, but the entire org. is suspect so long as Mike McCaskey plays any role whatsoever).
