  • Skins/Ravens Scrimmage

NFL football arrives a week early for Redskins and Ravens fans: on Saturday, Aug. 4, the Redskins will travel to Baltimore to scrimmage against the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. The "Summer Scrimmage" is the first opportunity for fans of both teams to see the Redskins and Ravens in action prior to the 2007 season.

The scrimmage is set to begin at 12 noon ET. Tickets range from $10-25 and are available through the Baltimore Ravens ticket office. For more information, visit the Baltimore Ravens web site.

NFL scrimmages typically last about two hours. Both the Redskins and Ravens will work against each other in game-type conditions, but with no scoring.

Scrimmages include special teams work, 7-on- drills, 1-on-1 matchups between offensive and defensive lineman, and a full-scale 11-on-11 session.

This is the third year in a row that the Redskins and Ravens will play a preseason scrimmage. Last year's scrimmage drew 47,258 fans to FedExField.

The Redskins and Ravens also had a scrimmage in 2000 at FedExField, although that contest ended shortly after it started due to lightning conditions.

One week after the Redskins-Ravens scrimmage, on Saturday, Aug. 11, the Redskins will travel to Nashville to officially open the preseason schedule against the Tennessee Titans. Kickoff at LP Field is 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NFL Network.

On Saturday, Aug. 18, the preseason opener at FedExField features the Redskins playing the Cincinnati Bengals. Game time is 8 p.m. ET.

The Ravens come to FedExField on Saturday, Aug. 18, for the Redskins' third preseason game. Kickoff is 8 p.m. ET.

In Week 3 of the preseason, the Ravens travel to FedExField. Kickoff is 8 p.m. ET. It's the third year in a row that the Redskins and Ravens will play a preseason game.

The Redskins close out the preseason on Thursday, Aug. 30, against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Game time at Alltel Stadium is 8 p.m. ET.

I wanted to go last year, couldn't make it though. M & T is closer to my house, probably try to get up there. For a scrimmage, it was actually pretty entertaining.

Cox Cable It has like 900 Channels, but I only get like 300, the rest are like movie channels and pay per view that I don't get, and about 200 Channels are like "music channels" that just have a a colored screen and music.

A little while ago they made NFLN part of "the sports package." Thankfully I already have that though, but that could be your problem.

                            Stupid comcast.

Yeah they now make you pay for the entire sports package to get NFL Network. Glad I switched to DirecTV before that happened. For me MASN is 626 and MASN 2 is 671.
