  • Panthers' 2008 Draft

The 2008 Draft is finally here!

It's Draft weekend, and best of luck to the Carolina Panthers in finding good players to help the team for the future.

    Discuss the event here.
    Pugnacity, testosterone, truculence, and belligerence.

Looks like popular opinion has shifted to Jonathan Stewart as the pick at #13. I just worry about another runningback with injury concerns in the backfield.

I'm ok with the Otah pick. He might bust but if he works out he's a beast in the run game

EDIT: WTF next year's first? Well I guess since Cowher is coaching next year they dont care but man its going to suck watching Philly draft in the top 5

also if we wanted an OT so badly why didn't we take albert or williams and then trade up for stewart? this is a crazy draft

I think this was a terrible draft in terms of what we got early, another RB we just drafted 2 years ago, and he has shown when given the ball he can play. If we were going to draft a rb why not take one in round 2 or 3, could have drafted brandon albert been alot safer of a pick..

We got what could be the best back in the draft and would be taken above Mcfadden by many teams had it not been for the toe. Williams has NOT shown the ability to run it through the middle, regardless of a few long runs.
