Any round, any position....what 09 eligible prospect do you want to see in a Bucs uniform.

    I'll start things off...

maybe I'm not seeing it, but I am seeing the WR version of Reggie Bush here, and Reggie hasn't shown me anything in the NFL. But I don't know muich about Harvin, so I'll let you correct me on this :)

I think we need to go WR in round one. There's a few prospects I like already from this class, and I think we will be able to get our future #1 in the draft. I wouldnt be suprised if this is Galloways last year. I think we are potentially set at #2 with Stovall/Clayton and at the slot with Jackson for many years to come. We just need a legit #1 receiver to take over for Galloway when he's gone. Heres one of my candidates

Heyward-Bey and Granger are 2 guys I really like too. I'll explain why I love Harvin later, because I know he's similar to DeSean Jackson, who I don't like. Sam Young definitely needs to stay for his Senior year. Sutton is alright, but I prefer Marlon Lucky among others. Taurus Johnson....didn't even bother to care :).

I know Maclin is a lot like Galloway, but I have him behind Harvin and in front of Heyward-Bey. He's only a sophomore anyway.

This 09 class isn't very good, but I like the prospects available to us at our current needs (WR, OT especially). It''s exciting that we could end up with a great draft while all the other teams have to reach on mediocre players.

If we're picking in the 15-up range, you better believe I'll be all over the Jason Fox bandwagon, but it's a win-lose if he declares.

^^lol...too bad he plays Miami week 2. They might have to take that movie off theaters after he leaves in a stretcher.

I know I will probably get flammed for this, but assuming he comes out, I want Tim Tebow in the 1st. He may not be the greatest passer, but he will do for our offense what has been lacking for as long as I remember... make it interesting to watch. Can you imagine... he would be like Allstot reincarntated into a Quarterback...Awsome!!!

Tebow would make sense for a number of reasons when considering the development of our offensive players. First, Garcia is going to retire soon so we need a player who can step in very quickly. Johnson may not be ready in time, but given the physical nature of Tebow's play, he will likely get injured from time to time, giving JJ plenty of opportunity.

Second, I would feel much safer about shifting Trueblood to LT with a left handed QB. If Zuttah can assume the RT role, our young oline is now complete with no further draft picks spent.

Third, Gruden finally gets an elite developmental talent at QB. If Gruden is unable to get his offense going after a few years of this, there will be no more excusses. We have all bitched and complained about Gruden's offense, but the fact remains he has had no long-term stability at the most important position. In order to truely judge Gruden's performance and future with the team this problem needs to be addressed.

Isn't he coming off an extremely serious injury right now?

If his skills translate correctly (to the NFL of course) then he could be the missing piece for Gruden.

WR help will be necessary especially if he loose Galloway.
