I watch most of my TV/Movies on my computer anyways. I suppose I could buy a Blu-Ray drive for it. But right now, it only has a DVD drive. My computer monitor is nicer then my TV anyways.

Basterds is over :( But now I am watching Quantum of Solace since I havent seen it since it was in theatres and I watched Casino Royale yesterday.

A Blue-Ray burner would be the way to go. They're cheaper than a PS3.

          • If I'm going to get a blu ray player than I'll get a ps3 only because I wouldnt want to spend the money on either one individually.

You make your point in both a clever and crude manner. Congratulations are in order.

I dont think it is. I dont think its worth the extra $15 per dvd and the extra few hundred to get a player. Not to mention you would need an HD tv to begin with so that automatically counts me out.

                      • Really? HD quality movies are not much better than normal?

Yea, you have to have an HD TV, but I figured that was a given. If you don't have one, there's no need for a BluRay player. Also, BluRay players improve the playback of normal DVDs. It won't be HD quality, but it is better than normal.

Plus, new DVDs are usually $20 and new BluRays are usually $30. Yea, it's an extra $10, but I like watching high quality things rather than **** so...

                          • Finally got around to seeing the Kill Bills. Vol 1 was more energetic and fun but I was really impressed with Vol 2. Thoughts?

$15 dollars? Really? Honestly all you have to do is find it on places like Amazon, where I buy most of my Blu ray's for under 15 bucks.

If the money doesn't matter then it's definitely worth it. You can get a computer monitor with HD and a Blu-Ray drive which would be much cheaper than a PS3 and a HDTV. PS3's are worth the money if you like video games. Also, Blu-Ray prices will go down as DVDs slowly become obsolete like the VHS. That's still a ways off though.
