I am aware, I just enjoy poking fun at international terms like that.

Homer: I wonder why hes so eager to go to the garage?
Moe: The "garage"? Hey, fellas, the "garage"! Well, ooh la-di-da, Mr. French Man.
Homer: Well what do you call it?
              Moe: A car hole!

              • What grinds my gears is when I decide to try a show out & get the entire first season, but whoever uploaded it decided to have subtitles on! So, there are big ass block letters at the bottom of the screen for every episode, in the same language that is being spoken.

Needless to say I deleted the entire season & shall not be watching this show.

                  • I dont believe in paying for things that are much easier to go and get for free. TV shows on DVD are the biggest ripoffs this side of buying anime on DVD.

If its free then I wouldnt expect the quality to be that great and apparently it isnt.

                        • I get my jaws jacked reading Bill Simmons' Tiger Zoo articles, mailbag, etc. on ESPN.com Page 2 where he & the rest of the sports press has the temerity to say Tiger should not receive preferential treatment, or OJ-style celeb justice all the while pumping the hype machine for the 2010 Masters which will have Tiger Woods in it for public humiliation, all the double-entendres from Jim Nantz' commentary on the air, will he "pull out" of the tourney & the sophomoric humor that will spawn, ad nauseum.

Give me a freaking break! Isn't Simmons p/o of the same national sports press that gave "serial adulterer" Tiger Woods (his extramarital mistress count is up to 13 as of today & counting) a pass for like 10 yrs. on his many hookups in Vegas hotels? Maybe they are claiming didn't recognize him there with a not-his-wife hottie on his arm in the casinos, the most famous sports face on the planet.

The sports press that gave Woods a wink-wink & a nudge-nudge about this for yrs. is now getting lots of mileage from the scandal that is now looking like the most costly in terms of total $ serial philandering in history, note that his still-estranged (did she move back in? who knows) & personification of Hell Hath No Fury wife bought a private island in her native Sweden last wk, big $ is still changing hands despite his pre-nup. Point is I don't think the sports press covering his story can or should have it both ways.

I guess those little white balls weren't the only thing Tiger was hittin'.

                            • A friend of mine brought up something that is kind of annoying when one thinks about it. You go to a club expecting to have a good time and dance with some girls. In most cases girls in clubs are dressed very provocative and sexy. I've found that a good amount of women will flaunt their independence and a lot of the times behave quite rudely when a guy hits on them or tries to dance with them in a club environment...even if the guy is sincere in his approach. Some examples include making comments like "no touching" if you try to dance with certain girls, or stand in a "dance circle" with their female friends preventing any male interference. My main gripe is, if you go to a club dressed like a ho, don't be surprised if men try to hit on you. Yes there are dangerous guys out there, but if you're that cautious about it, then why go to a club in the first place? Why put yourself in a situation that you believe has the potential to get out of hand?
