  • ESPN's 30 for 30 Series

    starts on tues; this weeks is about the wayne gretzky trade

    it's a series of 30 documentaries that feature sports stories of the past 30 years (espn era); some stories are hardly talked about, such as allen iverson race trial, jordans baseball career, etc.

    heres a link that shows all the episodes; some are pretty interesting

                    Kings Ransom was journalism at it's finest. I'm very impressed with this series and plan on watching every week.

                        It is done by Mike Tollin.
                        Here is a podcast with Bill Simmons and the Tollin which is fun in its own right and talks about the movie as well as Tollin's career.

                            I really enjoyed the Gretzky one and the Baltimore Colts band one was entertaining as well. Really excited for the Bartman one too.

                            *Edit: I'm also really excited about the Len Bias one, for those who don't know he would have been one of the best NBA'ers of all time.
