          • D'Backs called up Wily Mo Pena, 9 games coming up in AL parks so he should see some starts at DH, could be a decent pick up in deep leagues or NL only

            • I first remember Willy Mo Pena from either 1999 or 2000 when he was playing for the Staten Island Yankees (Short Season A). I thought he was going to be so good haha.

              • Yeah he had a few decent seasons with Cinci but never could put it together for an extended amount of time

Some thought it could be worse. For his long term career, as well as getting back this year, it is probably better that it is his forearm rather than his wrist.

                    • Tough news, but good for the Pirates to make a stronger push if they get their offense in order.

                      • Those wrist injuries usually kill your power for a year plus so like Jug said it's a good thing it's his forearm. Brewers are pretty happy I'm sure.

I thought he would be excellent when the Red Sox traded for him. He never could quite figure out how to get around on breaking balls with that massive ass bat of his. Surprised no one has been able to get him to go for a lighter one at this point because I honestly feel like that held back in Major League career more than a little bit.

More likely to die on the job or finish with a winning record? What are the odds?
