Haha. I'm not actually mad. I think I just type and it comes off as anger. I'm really a happy person. Would you rather have Werth for his deal or Crawford for his?

Crawford. His skill set is more of a game-changer.

Also, I think Gonzalez is the top acquisition this offseason. His swing is perfect for Fenway. He's going to pepper the wall if he gets pitched away and he'll drop bombs to right if they pitch him inside.

The interesting thing will be what they do with Ellsbury. Not sure if he can handle hitting at the top of that order, but his speed will be wasted if he hits lower in the order with base cloggers like Ortiz and Tek hitting ahead of him. They may be better off dealing him to shore up that bullpen.
The Brian Sabean sig is no more. I disagreed with you on so many levels. And then you went out and built a dynasty. I am lame.

I'll vouch for this. I'm much more cranky.

            • Is the Phillies offense better than the Braves offense of the mid 90's that had Maddux, Smoltz, Glavine, and Avery?

It depends on how good Dominic Brown is.

I've heard talks about them possibly working two "top of the lineup" options

                  Ellsbury
                  Pedroia
                  AGonz
                  Youk
                  Crawford
                  Scutaro
                  Ortiz
                  JD Drew
                  Salty/VTek

I was thinking about putting Crawford at leadoff and going L/R all the way down with Ellsbury at the 9 whole
Tito has said that Boston's a better team when Ellsbury leads off though.
                  We'll see what he does

They're so ******* predictable, it's sad. A bunch of randoms posting on a football forum called it hours ahead of time, and i bet their crack-team of writers was sitting there for hours till one says "aha! the FOUR ACES!"
