Don't mean to sound sexist, but it's kinda weird for a man to be a big Sarah McLachlan fan.

        Plus you're cool.

          uh. music is music.
and sarah mclachlan is awesome. sure, i'm sure flyboy doesn't identify with a lot of her vaginal remarks. but, she has a beautiful voice, and he identifies with that. and that's more power to him.

          haha.

Eh, McLachlan doesn't even have that many "girly" songs either. But, I guess if you strictly identify her with "female music" and Lilith Fair then I'm a sissy. It's all good. I like what I like and that's fine. Good to know someone can look past genre when it comes to music, though.

            Anyhow, iTunes on shuffle:

            1. Feist - "One Two Three Four"
            2. Jem - "Flying High"
            3. Destiny's Child - "Stand Up For Love"
            4. RENT Cast - "I'll Cover You (Reprise)" (from the Rent Motion Picture Soundtrack)
            5. Jagged Edge - "Goodbye" (definitely one of my favorites of theirs)
            6. Jewel - "1000 Miles Away"
            7. Mandy Moore - "Walk Me Home"
            8. Heather Headley - "Why Should I Cry"
            9. Mariah Carey - "Dreamlover"
            10. Aimee Mann - "Beautiful" (definitely been feeling this song a lot lately)
The whole world loves neophyte athletic tight end Jimmy Graham from Miami with the 95th pick. "Best pick in the draft,'' one AFC coach told me. "Give him time, and in that offense, he'll be better than [Jeremy] Shockey by the start of next year.''

agreed... comparing her to tori amos wouldn't be fair, but to say she's closer to james blunt is also unfair. (as far as gender dynamics of her music, but then again, i really am guessing on the james blunt part, because i get ugly chills on my spine just thinking of it)
to identify her with female music (and subsequently shun because of which) is to also deny feist the opportunity. and anyone who does that is stupid. (because every single guy i know is in love with her (and her music)).

her space holiday - tech romance...

                            • They made up their minds
                              and they started packing.
They left before the sun came up that day.
An exit to eternal summer slacking,
But where were they going without ever knowing the way...

                              Love this song.
