I'm sure some of them are. I'd even be willing to say most still are, seeing as there's a good chance they are old and keep getting recirculated by one of the 2309 similar sites.

However, I'd say within the last couple months probably 50% at least are people trying to be funny and setting up their own "jokes". Similar to texts from last night, except those are probably more real seeing how 90% are drunk texts.

Like 90% of texts from last night are fake. If you look at the first couple pages none of them are even funny, and as they get newer and newer they get more and more ridiculous. As the site got more popular people started trying too hard.
