Goddanm the escort missions.

An escort mission in an RPG with few save points and unskippable dialogue would make me rage so badly.

hahahah Black Ops.

Seriously the one game pissed me off so much, you had to sit through every screen cut that had like a 10 min long video.

The escort missions are always impossibly difficult and take forever because the NPC moves like a goddamned snail. Worst missions possible.

Metal Gear Solid II had one of the most annoying escort missions ever.

Anyone remember the escort/ ghillie mission on COD4? freaking impossible on hardcore.

At one point I just said "**** it, get her vamp. I'm done with this *****." The one in Metal Gear Solid 3 isn't any better, but at least it was a better game.

The worst part of the entire MGS series, though, is where you have to wander around London in a trenchcoat for an entire act. That was stupid.

I must admit I agree with this sentiment although likely not to the extent that you probably do. That quote is very infuriating.

MGS2 was much better than three. And RE4 actually wasn't all that bad escorting someone around for about an entire quarter of the game. I never felt like it was a hassle.

MGS 2 was the best of the series, despite only being able to play for Snake for an hour or so.
