BeerBaron 02-08-2011 07:47 PM

It's an old paradox...I wasn't a Philosophy major but I've still heard of it:

The Unseen 02-08-2011 08:48 PM

I'm a philosophy major and didn't hear of it, at least yet as I have yet to take an Ancient Greek philosophy course, but it's still quite awesome.

I usually find those comics funny but not that one.

The Unseen 02-09-2011 09:41 AM

I thought it was funny

I did too. Then again, I work with nothing but lawyers whose job it is to argue over semantics.

I was referring to the "po dat milk" one. I liked the Athens comic.

MetSox17 02-09-2011 11:58 AM

The Athens comic was awesome.

I worked with a girl who was homeless for awhile at a summer job, and she said she made a sign with a spinning hypnotize wheel that said "YOU WILLLLLL GIVE ME MONEY" and she said she got almost 100 bucks a day for it because people loved it.

I read an article that some guy became a professional homeless man. He made a better living than working with his degree. I think he was an accountant. Best part he said it was all tax free since it was donations, work when you want. Stand outside of Starbucks, intersections during lunch hr, wear some old clothes, bag of oranges.

there are people who pretend they are homeless as a way to make money on the side.

hmmm, I actually liked Blade 3. lol

niel89 02-09-2011 06:44 PM

Boo on that thing. Die hard with a vengeance > Die hard 2

CJSchneider 02-09-2011 06:53 PM

Screw that guy for failing to appreciate the Matrix trilogy.

General Zod 02-09-2011 06:55 PM

And Star Trek 2 needs to be rated higher.

KKKAAAAHHNNNN!!!!!

Paul 02-09-2011 06:56 PM

As far as I'm concerned the Matrix only had on movie.

BeerBaron 02-09-2011 06:56 PM

I loved the first Jurrassic Park.....I was crazy about dinosaurs when I was little. It was actually the 2nd movie I ever saw in a movie theater. So it would get more points for sentimentality for me...

The original Planet of the Apes should be maxed out as well. Classic movie....dated and cheesy by our modern standards, but still epic.

I'd also raise the first Terminator up a bit. Just watched that this weekend on AMC....epic. Not as good as the 2nd, but still awesome.

Return of the King is infinitely better than the rest of LotR

I'm scrambling to find this funny picture regarding the Matrix....

The first panel shows a theater full of guys screaming and cheering and says "The Matrix."

The 2nd panel shows them all sitting indifferently, and that panel says "The Matrix: Reloaded"

The 3rd panel shows them all angry and upset, and says "The Matrix: Revolutions."

If someone can locate this picture, please post it and laugh at CJ being silly please.
