The tree gave him selfless love if I remember.

At my parents house they have quite a few Silverstein books. Here at my house, I have a copy of "Light in the attic". Out of my childhood, a lot of these books stick out the most.

that old man got to see some young ladies on his birthday; surely that was better than any thing else he could have received.

YAYareaRB 09-05-2010 03:41 PM

I think that card sent from Canada was pretty neat and thoughtful.

The thing was literally white with the bubbles from the spray, and it still managed to climb up til I couldn't see it anymore...

If I EVER saw one of the ones like they have down in Aussie land that are bigger than ******* frisbees.......I'd die on the spot.

Australia and the Amazon Rainforest are two completely different places. And any way the ones that can really hurt you aren't exactly big.

The scary ones are sneaky. Hiding in swimming pools and under toilet seats and what not.

The ability to actually hurt me doesn't matter......it's irrational I know, but that's what a phobia is. I lock up and get terrified just looking at them.

I don't think he's blind. Why is he wearing glasses if he's blind? He doesn't have a cane or appear to be looking into space in any of those pictures.

Also I'm sure he had experiences with girls like those when he was in the army. He pulled pins from them and threw them at the Japanese.
