I'm becoming more and more like this as I get older and realize they don't care. They know how much I drank, that I smoked weed, who all I've slept with that they've met...not in great detail obviously, but meh. I don't think there is much my friends could tell them that would make them mad or surprise them.

I was a good student and I work full time to support myself. (Sadly, in this day and age, that alone makes me a success story.) So they don't have much room to complain.

yup. when i made my fake (i think i was 18, senior year of high school), the first thing i did was show my mom. she just rolled her eyes.
