Something about the fine print doesn't seem quite legal...

njx9 03-12-2012 08:09 PM

nah, private companies can discriminate against any non-protected class, as i understand it. religion is fine, skin color is not, for example.

BeerBaron 03-12-2012 08:11 PM

I'm already boycotting them for that god damned annoying car alarm commercial that played every 5 ******* minutes in every single college football game.

Now I have another reason.

DoughBoy 03-12-2012 08:19 PM

I've worked there since I have been in college and not once have I had a conversation about religion. The risk of Chick-fil-a restaurant's being privately owned is that you are bound to get one religious nut job or another.

BRAVEHEART 03-12-2012 09:01 PM

Since I've moved here in Florida, Chick-Fil-A is some of the best fast-food I've had. I remember one time I went there on my break, and they forgot to give me my fries. Called their location. they apologized, and the manager drove to my job to give me a larger sized order of fries.

I got no beef with chick-fil-a

TitanHope 03-12-2012 09:05 PM

Yeah, I've disregarded my personal principles for way less than waffle fries.

This reminds me of how this cult owns this deli place in downtown Chattanooga. I hear it's to die for.

I see what you did there. But you're right. There was an extremely busy Chick-fil-A right across the street from my college. Despite seeing thousand of different college students every week, this once cashier knew my name and knew my order every time.

CashmoneyDrew 03-12-2012 09:26 PM

Chick-fil-a >>>>>>>>> Any of my principles.

I'm pretty sure it's because Christians love you more.

nah. that's just what happens when you take a dump on the cash register one too many times.

StickSkills 03-13-2012 12:47 AM

Why are people just now realizing that Chick-Fil-A is a Christian restaurant? That's why they're never open on Sundays, which happens to be the day that everyone wants to go there.

I love troll physics.

CJSchneider 03-14-2012 01:47 PM

I do find them funny, alas, I know in my heart of hearts that they no doubt started off with someone being absolutely serious.
