The Official NFC South Stud LBers Thread

Lets keep track of what each of them does throughout the year.

Michael Boley
Jon Beason
Barret Ruud

Id say Ruud and Boley a lil way ahead at the moment. Maybe Ruud by a nose.

Stats as of Week 5?

Caddy 10-08-2007 05:18 AM

If God played LB, he'd be Barrett Ruud.

Auron 10-08-2007 06:28 AM

Saints don't have any. :( We only have 1 LB that can really even tackle in Scott Fujita.

Poor Aints'

zCaddyz 10-08-2007 10:14 AM

Ruud has like 5 ff already

iloxygenil 10-08-2007 10:43 AM

Ruud has 3 FF Boley has 1 and an INT Boley has him in total tackles and solo tackles. If I was forming a team, Boley is the LB I'm taking. Ruud is a stud though. Boley is just constantly everywhere. Not to mention Boley's play on ST...blocked a punt this season too.

SchizophrenicBatman 10-08-2007 12:23 PM

Beason's play really stepped up this week as he moved to MLB. He was fine at WLB before, but he really stood out against the Saints. Then again, maybe the Saints had something to do with that

T Davis looked good too

Shiver 10-08-2007 01:28 PM

Basically this thread is designed to mock the Saints for not having any stud Linebackers.

ATLDirtyBirds 10-08-2007 04:10 PM

Basically Ruud and Boley are machines. Nuff said.

Eh the Saints are an easy target right now. Last season was the first time in a long while they wouldn't get laughed at when they were mentioned. I miss last year..

Not deliberatly of course;). But to me, Ruud and Boley have truley been some of the standouts in the entire league this year, and Beason is gonna be great too. It's just a co-incidence that there all in the same division, so i posted it. The Saints didnt cross my mind. Now that i think about it, perhaps the should of taken Puz last year.

Doesn't Ruud have 51 tackles and Boley 46. At least that is what it says on their individual profiles.

Maybe their profile includes assisted tackles.

If Beason stays at MLB he is going to put up huge numbers as a rookie.

The stats on the leaders page do not correlate with the stats on the individual player pages, is it that hard to comprehend?

Chucky 10-13-2007 08:19 PM

The bucs stud LBer core will be put to the test tomorrow against Vince Young, i think they should be able to contain him

Will you chill the hell out? I was explaining as to where iloxygenil might have gotten his stats from.

I had already alluded to that fact hence why your post was redundant.

Shiver 10-16-2007 02:43 AM

Michael Boley adds another five total tackles and an interception.

Caddy 10-16-2007 04:05 AM

We might be a crappy division, but our linebackers are no joke. Oh wait.. forgot about the Saints..

d34ng3l021 10-16-2007 04:17 PM

Boley better be going to the pro bowl.

We (Buc Fans) feel the same about Ruud. At the moment, both deserve to be there.
