Is he a free agent now or is he draft eligible?

Windy 02-19-2007 10:30 PM

Kiper had him ranked 5th for DB's at the beginning of the season before he got hurt.

There were plenty of people who thought he was better than Hughes.

josh07039 02-19-2007 11:01 PM

how old is he?

Mixon is small but a very good man-to-man cover back. I guess he's a supplemental draft option now?

"Is he a free agent now or is he draft eligible?"

Supp. Draft, but it's a poor move on his part, IMO.

I wouldn't think so, he should still be able to be a regular draft pick just like everyone else.

Um...he didn't really have a choice.

And the NFL may still allow him to be selected in this draft, as the only reason he didn't declare was because he was seeking a sixth season of eligibility.

Vikes99ej 02-20-2007 09:33 PM

Yeah, I remember him getting messed up at the beginning of the season.

P-L 02-20-2007 09:47 PM

Does anyone know for sure if he will be allowed in the draft? He isn't an underclassman and has completed his eligibility. I thought anyone who used up their eligibility is available for the draft and only underclassmen had to declare. Can anyone clarify?

draftguru151 02-21-2007 06:41 AM

Scott said he will be in the normal draft.

LB51 02-21-2007 06:12 PM

i think he'll go anywhere from 3rd,4th or 5th round

rainbeaukid2 02-22-2007 10:55 PM

he could end up being a steal for a team as he will probably fall because of his injury
