Anyways, I would have to say that INT's are way overrated as well, Leigh Bodden didnt have a ton of ints in 2005 but he sure deflected alot of passes and in the last game of the year he was on Heap at some times and a receiver the other, they threw the ball to the receiver he was guarding ONCE all game, and it went out of bounds... the less tackles/ints for a CB can some times be a good thing :)

The Wonderlic, though I think sacks are somewhat overrated; it's great if someone can rush the passer but if that's all they can do and they are a starter; then it hurts the team.

joey porter. yes, he is a thing.

I agree with you on both of those.

The thought that race determines anything. Everyone can do everything we're all created equal!! now everyone can shut up about race.

INT- ya its a shocker but i think INTS which were caused by the WR's screw up should not b counted ie tipped balls, drops which wind up in the opponents hands, etc. I dont wanna make excuses for poor Eli but that happened about 4-5x this year- plaxico would drop one, it would bounce of shockeys hands stuff like that- or @ least b counted as a different category

In sports studies this is called "stacking". It's whenever minorities are made to do things that are to be expected of them. Since most African American players aren't brought up to play the QB position, white players tend to be more effective. Is this fair? No. But does it happen? Certainly.

I don't think that black players should be treated any differently, but I know that Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Steve McNair and Donovan McNabb are the only great black QB's I know. And I'm not sure you could call Cunningham, McNair and McNabb great.

If I were starting a team, I'd go for the white QB. History tends to favour them. In this draft I'd go for Quinn over Russell.

Race as a whole.

in the times we live in now african americans are growing up to want to play qb and playing qb through high school and college. so i dont really think that works still.

tackles. guys like Vilma got huge #s again but his real production didnt back it in 3-4

i rather have a guy with 60 tackles at LB who didnt give up much rather than a guy who gets 120 tackles and got run over or made tackles down the field

its starting to be like that. But up till not to long ago most QBs being groomed starting in high school were white.
