Any one else hate shaving?

Well do you?

I like the feeling after but hate the shaving part.

MetSox17 06-21-2008 07:30 PM

I can only grow a goatee, soul patch and mustache. No beard what-so-ever.

And it's not like i'm some pre-pubescent kid either, i'm gonna be 21 already.

Turtlepower 06-21-2008 07:31 PM

Quick question, who here shaves in the shower?

I can't because I need a mirror to shave. Too scared of cutting my face up.

The only thing outside the usual stuff that i do in the shower is brush my teeth. Occasionally. Usually i take care of all that stuff once i'm out.

I don't but its not because I am afraid. Its because I will leave patches of places I didn't reach.

I shave in the mirror as well. Shaving is a hassle and I don't like it either.

StripedWalrus 06-21-2008 07:35 PM

hmmm ever just try not shaving...grow a kick ass beard!

Turtlepower 06-21-2008 07:37 PM

My gf hates it when I don't shave because of the stubbles I grow. I scratch at her with them.

I'll trade you, all I can grow is a beard and mutton chops... My mustache fails beyond belief.

Oh and shaving sucks. That's why I only do it biweekly.

Splat 06-21-2008 08:24 PM

What do you all use I'm a "Gillette Fusion Power" guy my self?

BigDawg819 06-21-2008 08:26 PM

Shaving is beyond a pain in the ass and worst part is there was a time when we all couldn't wait to shave. I shave whenever I get that wild hair to do it. I have the $ goatee already so I'm good. But when I don't shave I do tend to get a fair amount of facial hair but can't just yet get it all connected for a full blown beard. Oh well Hockey season isn't that far off now is it......

adschofield 06-21-2008 08:32 PM

I don't really mind it, but then again I'm younger and don't have to shave as often

I use disposable razors because it is actually better for your skin. Too often with reusable razors people tend to use them when the blade is dull, which isn't good for your face.

As far as shaving cream goes, I prefer foam over gel.

I definately need a mirror to groom my beard. But being lazy I only do so once or twice a week.

I had that problem when I was 17, used to just trim the full beard around a goatee.

I've always hated shaving but I had to start at 14.

Twiddler 06-21-2008 09:09 PM

Hate it. In fact, I need to right now but I'm putting it off.

Xonraider 06-21-2008 09:26 PM

I hate shaving... its a waste of whatever amount of time it takes... never really timed it.

You know you get waxed instead.

I've been shaving for 20 years. I've tried every thing from an electric razor to re-usable; you name it. Shaving in the shower is not a problem, and I do it all the time. What amazes me is that I'm sharing my shaving habits on a message board. I've gotten soft.

It's not you, it's us. Men have gone soft, we're no longer very manly, I mean I can't even threaten half the people on here with sticking a pinky in their pooper because they'd like it.

Dude, that's just all kinds of wrong.

M.O.T.H. 06-21-2008 10:04 PM

I get very lazy and just let it grow. Then it gets all rough and in turn makes shaving that much worse.
