haha i'm so psyched right now. i know its against the lions with them stubbornly running the ball, but there haven't been much to be excited about the falcons in so long and they're playing so well!!

Granted, it's the Detroit defense. This is still very impressive. I'm very excited for this team. GREAT job in the offseason.

God dammit Chris Houston costed us 2 TDs of his stupid unnecessary penalties.

Turner is a beast! Norwod is playing great as well, they compliment eachother so well.

This is perect for Ryan as well. Being able to throw enough to stay confident and give us a change of pace. He has looked very efficient.



As far as defense goes, well there needs to be much improvement. The DB's arnt looking too great but ill cut them a "little" slack b/c of the Lions receiving core but other than that, Houston is in good position just making dumb decisions. Grimes, well hey they guy is 5'8 5'9 at most maybe 180 so hes doing all he is capable of.

There is absolutely no pass rush at all and its costing us. Abraham is the lone bright spot and Anderson is looking a little better but we gotta get more pressure. I Like what I'm seeing out of Lofton, running well and making the tackles, Boley is playing consistently, and Brooking looks like an old grandpa out there trying to run rodents off his front porch. I know hes a veteran leader but we need a playmaker.


Overall Im very excited to see our Offense putting the ball into the endzone and putting points on the board. Very promising start to the Mike Smith and Matt Ryan era.

Well don't I look like an idiot after Abraham records two sacks on 1 drive...I can say I'm glad to be shown up.

No you didnt look like an idiot at all, the defense looked very poor most of the game.
