I now love Cris Carter.

"If I got a gun I got one bullet in it, I shoot T.O. right now. Right on the spot. I have a press conference my first day they hire me, I have him come, I put a bullet right there sitting in him."

thebow305 12-31-2008 01:58 AM

Wow, that's pretty harsh!

I don't like the guy, but I certainly wouldn't shoot the guy. That is taking it too far.

GB12 12-31-2008 01:59 AM

Where are you getting these quotes from?

I think he was more saying get rid of him by saying if I can get of one guy, T.O. I don't think he means literally kill him. CARTER RULES!

BmoreBlackByrdz 12-31-2008 10:03 AM

Cris Carter is the man. But I don't think he meant it in a way that he wanted to kill Owens but he meant it more as kill him as a cowboy, he career in Dallas might possibly be coming to an end. They just don't need those "I" and "me" type guys, they need team players.

andyjo672 12-31-2008 10:03 AM

It would be a good start.

CC.SD 12-31-2008 10:17 AM

Breaking news: Carter arrested for conspiracy to commit murder.

CashmoneyDrew 12-31-2008 11:43 AM

I realize he wasn't serious (I think) but it amazes me how these guys get analyst jobs. I'm looking at you too Keyshawn.

Solomon 12-31-2008 11:46 AM

This black on black violence has got to stop!

Go_Eagles77 12-31-2008 11:47 AM

Probably said out of context, but still pretty funny. haha

LOL, I don't think context really changes how that reads. This is the moment where subtext became text.

Saints-Tigers 12-31-2008 12:18 PM

I think it was out of context too, but still awesome, and I don't even really hate TO :D

Hamptorf 12-31-2008 12:19 PM

LOL....This Has Made My Day

I Love It.....A Little Harsh And Most Likely Out Of Context.....But Still Hilarious

Geo 12-31-2008 12:28 PM

That's bizarre at worst and stupid otherwise.

Carter doesn't add anything to ESPN. Just like he didn't add anything to HBO.

Great player, worthless "analyst".

Brent 12-31-2008 01:28 PM

This is funny but still doesn't change the fact that Cris Carter is an idiot.

giantsfan 12-31-2008 02:01 PM

I love that quote and I don't even agree with it. If that team had a good coaching staff that knew what they were doing they'd be in the playoffs right now. Wade Phillips is just a terrible head coach and he's let the lunatics run the asylum, it worked last year when everyone was happy and they hadn't had any problems yet, but this year they've just **** the bed.

Menardo75 12-31-2008 02:04 PM

That is probably the greatest thing I have heard all day.

How does one take that out of context?
