Just saw it on sportscenter. A press conference is set for 5 EST

Gay Ork Wang 01-12-2009 10:17 AM

damn i really liked that guy.

Sniper 01-12-2009 10:18 AM

Thank ******* God...

vidae 01-12-2009 10:21 AM

Wow, that sucks. Always been a big fan of Dungy.

Splat 01-12-2009 10:21 AM

Just a class act love the guy will be missed.

SuperKevin 01-12-2009 10:22 AM

I expect him to have a GM job no later than 2011

AkiliSmith 01-12-2009 10:23 AM

I would expect Raheem Morris to be the leading candidate for the job

Edit: Nevermind I just read that associate head coach Jim Caldwell is expected to take over if Dungy leaves.

diabsoule 01-12-2009 10:24 AM

Great guy. Always classy and respectful. One of my favorite coaches in the league.

captainjack27 01-12-2009 10:31 AM

T-RICH49 01-12-2009 10:41 AM

in a couple of years I can see him returning to coach somewhere

aNYtitan 01-12-2009 10:55 AM

Stay classy Tony Dungy, you had an amazing coaching career and you deserve all the accolades you can get. When things got tough on your team, you had a calming experience on your team which just put your team on the right course

Sad to see him go but He is a great coach and great person. I hope he enjoys his retirement and He defiantly should be a HOF.

drowe 01-12-2009 11:08 AM

great coach.

not as big a fan of him as a person as most everybody else seems to be. but, to each, his own.

princefielder28 01-12-2009 11:10 AM

I am a bit suprised that he left while Peyton is still in his prime.

Hines 01-12-2009 11:40 AM

Grade A coach and Grade A person. I always respected a Tony Dungy led team. Best of luck to him.

Change great to solid and I completely agree.

UK_Cheesehead 01-12-2009 12:11 PM

He seems like a really nice guy and is a very good coach, it's a loss for the NFL to see him go, it would be nice to see him return at some point in the future as either coach or GM.

Vikes99ej 01-12-2009 12:16 PM

Great person and an awesome coach. I don't think Caldwell should have much trouble.

Basileus777 01-12-2009 12:20 PM

Great regular season coach and a pretty nice guy.
