I don't have the recovery disc but I can buy one if needed. What does the recovery disc do?

Sniper that link was pretty useless. Thanks anyways tho.

Will re-install your OS, which will fix your computer. Down side when you boot to the recovery disc you lose all of your data :(

BTW Sniper I just noticed your avy and could not help but notice that there is a black man playing hockey. I thought the only thing black a hockey game was the puck.

P.K Subban is so good that hockey granted him an exception. Other than that, Whitey's got a lock-down on pucks.

Sorry, I just googled it for you. Too lazy to check if it was useful or not. Good luck.

Need some info mate, Xp, Vista or something else for starters?

If it is XP, most likely cause of a BSOD these days is your hardware dieing or having driver conflicts.

What happens when you try and boot?

Did you install anything new today?

it does. I had one pretty recently. IIRC it's related to conflicting drivers.

Saints 4 Lyfe 06-09-2009 08:44 AM

Do you ever get an "SCSIPORT.SYS" error? This is common with conflicting hard drives. From my experience you may need a clean install of the OS. If you don't have a CD you should be able to get a copy from Microsoft. If at all possible, get an external HD and save as much data on there as you can.

Oh, did you upgrade anything? New motherboard? etc.. Are you running anything from Daemon tools? They seem to cause the BSOD sometimes.

PM me i'll help as much as possible.
