Week 8: Baltimore Ravens
The final score was ugly but I don't think that accurately reflects the play of the defense, which was actually pretty decent.
The offense, on the other hand, didn't even bother to show up. The interior OL looked bad, Hamilton in particular... he's getting pushed around like a ******* rag doll. The rest of the O looked flat and uninspired.
Special teams were ****... shades of Shanahan's days. The new punter was even worse than Kern. Giving up the return TD to start the second half put us halfway into the grave.
It will be interesting to see how the team responds.
The new punter was AWFUL, why the hell did we cut Kern.
We just got outplayed really. Baltimore wanted the game more and it showed. We'll need a big bounce back if we hope to compete with Pittsburgh next week.
I agree that the score makes it look worse than it really was. It definately wasn't on the defense. They didn't force any turnovers and special teams was aweful. If you lose the special teams game and the turnover game, you are most likely going to lose.
I'm not too worried about it...but expect a bunch of the media to abandon ship this week and say that they were right all along about the Broncos.
