Mock Drafts
What I want right now:
Round 1: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee Round 1: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson Round 2: Dan LeFevour, QB, Central Michigan Round 4: Ciron Black, OT, LSU |
Round 1: Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
Round 1: Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland Round 2: Best DE/DT/CB available Round 4: Andre Roberts, WR, Citadel |
1. Okung
1b. Spiller or Mays 2. Kyle Wilson (if he's there, if not best available 3 tech DT or CB) 4. Don't care as long as it addresses a need, maybe Gerhart |
1. Brian Bulaga
1. Taylor Mays 2. Toby Gerhart 4. Jacoby Ford |
Quote:
And choose- Spiller or Mays!!!!!!!!!! |
Quote:
Spiller & Mays both fill a need & their both freakish athletes. I'm not going to be upset with picking either of them. |
1a. Eric Berry
1b. Anthony Davis 2. Jahvid Best 4. Dezmon Briscoe -or option 2- 1a. Joe Haden 1b. Dez Bryant 2. Charles Brown 4. Major Wright or Arthur Jones |
Trade the 14th pick for an early-mid 20's and a 2nd rounder.
1a. Clausen/Bradford 1b. Bulaga/Brown 2a. Jahvid Best 2b. Nate Allen |
Jahvid Best to Seattle
Even though you guys already have Forsett, I just see Jahvid Best landing in Seattle somehow. Pete went through GREAT lenghts to make sure Best did not get going against SC in the two times Best/SC faced each other. He respected and knows how dangerous Best is. No brainer and great value if Best is there with your third pick, but I can see him using the second pick too.

New mock after they got Whitehurst who is clearly going to be all-pro QB from day one.
Round 1 (#6): Eric Berry, S, Tennessee Round 1 (#14): C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson Round 2: Charles Brown, OT, USC Round 4: Carlton Mitchell, WR, USF Round 4: D'Anthony Smith, DT, Louisiana Tech Round 4*: Al Verner, CB, UCLA Round 5: Shelley Smith, OG, Colorado State *Assuming a Rob Sims deal. |
Well I was already on the trade down from 14 bandwagon. Now with Whitehurst (clearly and all-pro, agreed gpngc...) I'm on the trade down from 6 bandwagon too, unless McCoy is there. We end up around with picks somewhere around 15 and 25 in round one and pick up two 2nd rounders and a 3rd in the deals.
1a. Earl Thomas 1b. Charles Brown 2a. Jahvid Best 2b. Rodger Saffold 2c. Lamarr Houston Now we just need to find trade partners.... |
No Spiller is not worth pick 6 money but he is the best offensive playmaker in the draft and Seattle needs a playmaker so Bulaga, McCoy, Sue, Okung are off the board i take Spiller no question.
1. Brian Bulaga OL 1. Derrick Morgan DE 2. Marty Gilyard WR 4. Perrish Cox CB 4. Kyle Calloway OL *Spiller wont be on the board at 14. |
Wishful thinking
Round 1: Eric Berry Round 1: C.J. Spiller Round 2: Jared Veldheer Round 4: Carlton Mitchell Round 4: D'Anthony Smith, DT, Louisiana Tech Round 5: Kevin Thomas, CB, USC Round 5: Austen Lane, DE, Murray State My worst case scenario 1: Trent Williams 1: Taylor Mays 2: Toby Gerhart |
Round 1, #6: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
Round 1, #14: C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson Round 2, #60: Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech Round 4, #106: TRADE up for Carlton Mitchell, WR, USF Round 4, #122: Greg Hardy, DE, Ole Miss Round 5, #134: TRADE up for Carlton Mitchell, WR, USF Round 5, #138: Robert Johnson, S, Utah Round 6, #176: Shelley Smith, OG, Colorado State Round 7, #245: Dexter Davis, LB, Arizona State |
I know it is still early, but we did a full 7 round mock in the Fantasy thread. Keep in mind there were no trades, free-agency acquisitions or compensatory picks. Amongst three other teams, I represented the Seahawks.
2. Seattle Seahawks :: Jake Locker, QB, Washington 34. Seattle Seahawks :: Sam Acho, DE, Texas 98. Seattle Seahawks :: Stephen Schilling, OG, Michigan 130. Seattle Seahawks :: James Cleveland, WR, Houston 162. Seattle Seahawks :: Colby Whitlock, DT, Texas Tech 194. Seattle Seahawks :: Brandon Saine, RB, Ohio State I just thought I would post this here to see what you thought of my selections. |
First two picks get the thumbs up. Can't say I know a whole lot about the rest of them except for Saine.
|
Thanks. I was somewhat unfamiliar with the Seahawks' needs and team dynamic so taking them in the mock was a real learning experience.
