QB Russell works out for Redskins

What is this world coming too

AntoinCD 11-02-2010 11:19 AM

Lol is McNabb really that bad???

Shiver 11-02-2010 11:19 AM

He's been out of the league for a year and already someone forgot how to spell his name?

senormysterioso 11-02-2010 11:21 AM

So McNabb is too out of shape to run the 2-minute offense, and doesn't practice with enough intensity and they turn to...

Shrewd move Shanny, shrewd.

DiG 11-02-2010 11:22 AM

this is to replace beck as the #3 qb. Apparently there are 3-4 qbs working out today. if anyone really thinks they are trying to bring in russell to replace mcnabb they have a lot to learn about football.

619 11-02-2010 11:25 AM

Russell is the anti-Shanny QB.

Is Shanny showing signs of senility? I don't get it.

descendency 11-02-2010 11:26 AM

Shanahan just thinks he can turn him around I guess. The standard arrogance/confidence of a head coach.

GatorsBullsFan 11-02-2010 11:27 AM

Shanahan has been known to grab some guys with character issues...don't forget Javon Walker

Scotty D 11-02-2010 11:28 AM

1.Pull McNabb for Rex Grossman.

2.Work out Jamarcus Russell.

3.???????????????????????

4.Profit

RealityCheck 11-02-2010 11:28 AM

I want to know where Shanny gets his weed.

Jamarcus wants to know where he gets his codeine.

Apparently from JaMarcus Russell.

619 11-02-2010 11:31 AM

It would take Russell about three years to grasp Shanny's two-minute drill, let alone the entire offense.

No joke.

Texas Homer 11-02-2010 11:45 AM

If Russell is in solid shape, then I think this could end up being a nice move.

Not if you covered it in mayo and put in a bun.

SeanTaylorRIP 11-02-2010 11:58 AM

Jamarcus Russell might be the one QB that John Beck is actually better than.

Jvig43 11-02-2010 12:10 PM

Shanny lost his ******* mind.

If pigs could fly, Jamarcus could probably just soar into the endzone.

yo123 11-02-2010 12:42 PM

Sooooo many weird stories lately. I can't handle this.

DiG 11-02-2010 03:04 PM

I want to know who the other 19 players were that worked out today. Having a hard time getting names.

"He was one of 20 players the Redskins worked out on Tuesday." reported by ESPN.

a lot of skins fans are hoping one of them is Tony Washington. id love to see him get another chance somewhere.

Complex 11-02-2010 03:06 PM

jaMarcus will pull a Mike Williams in couple years and become good.

only 19 other QBs in front of JaMarcus? ;)

(yea, I know they are not all 20 QBs, but we all know if you are desperate enough for JaMarcus maybe you are really desperate).

I'm not going to make the cross-comparison between grasping the receiver position and playing QB in this league. All Jawalrus can amount to is a mediocre QB, because he'll never want to push himself to be any better than that. It's time-consuming/difficult enough to even get to that stage.

SeanTaylorRIP 11-02-2010 03:46 PM

Haha there is a greater chance of me banging Megan Fox, but imagine how much Crow we'd all be eating if Jamarcus somehow made something of himself in the league. Hmm maybe I'll be that guy who is going to claim now that Jamarcus will be a pro bowler one day so I can be that genius if it ever happens.

Lol, I'd probably never have to eat that much crow ever again. But it's not going to happen. :)
