What if Willis McGahee..............

What if Willis McGahee never suffered that injury in the National title game, and was a top 5 pick as projected?

Gay Ork Wang 11-07-2010 04:18 PM

what if Grossman didnt suck

nepg 11-07-2010 04:19 PM

What if I didn't have an ingrown hair on my balls?

shylo3716 11-07-2010 04:30 PM

Can you please be serious about this thread. I THINK SKY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE LIMIT FOR HIM.

fenikz 11-07-2010 04:32 PM

he would of went top 5, still had 4.3 speed and put up 30 TD every year like he did at Miami

Brent 11-07-2010 04:37 PM

he would have been a Saint or Cowboy.

gsorace 11-07-2010 04:42 PM

What John Elway decided to play baseball for the Yankees?

Saints-Tigers 11-07-2010 04:47 PM

Don't think he lost as much speed as people like to pretend, and I thought he was overrated before his injury. People love "what if" stories, and they always get played up at least a bit.

Lol yea. Every time I'm not part of the mob, I haven't watched someone. I'm a huge huge fan of the U.

Oh by the way, a lot of guys got those numbers, I learned in the Andre Johnson thread that touchdowns are meaningless, so there isn't anything that special about it.

Larry Johnson was better than Willis even before the injury, and Willis was a pretty good prospect, that turned into a pretty good player. He was overhyped a good bit, and wasn't an Adrian Peterson kind of player.

PackerLegend 11-07-2010 05:09 PM

What ifs are terrible and can be said about any situation. Just avoid them.

Saints-Tigers 11-07-2010 05:10 PM

Willis became what I thought he would be even before the injury, 1100-1200 back, and 4 yards per carry type of dude.

V.I.P 11-07-2010 05:15 PM

What if we coverted on 4th down and won the game today?

niel89 11-07-2010 05:16 PM

He doesn't have this burst anymore.

RaiderNation 11-07-2010 05:16 PM

What if JaMarcus Russell wasnt fat? Oh he would be a horrible skinny QB nvm

J-Mike88 11-07-2010 05:31 PM

McGahee was sensational.
I was overseas during that Title game against Ohio State and couldn't believe when I learned Miami lost to the Buckeyes.

When I saw the highlights of that gruesome hit, I almost puked.

I HATE pussies who tackle like that!
As much as we're seeing helmet to heads cracked down on, I'm also sick of DBs diving into the knees/legs of players like that.

Why don't these DBs tackle like men these days? Very few do.

San Diego Chicken 11-07-2010 06:08 PM

The fact that he came back from that injury and was able to have a decent NFL career is pretty amazing, most thought his career was done. A better "WHAT IF" might be Ki-Jana Carter, probably the last running back to go #1 for quite a while.

No one would care if Frank Gore didn't blow out his knees.

Job 11-07-2010 07:17 PM

What if Helen Keller wasn't blind and deaf?

Brodeur 11-07-2010 07:18 PM

I think that was Anne Frank.

My mistake. Now I look dumb.

AD and Willis arent the same type of player, AD could never get close to a 4.2

also please show me someone with a season near as good as that, Bush is the only one i can think of

A Perfect Score 11-07-2010 08:55 PM

Willis before the injury was the best college RB I'd ever seen. Since then, AD has surpassed him, but still...those are the top 2 if you ask me. Willis was absolutely unreal.

yourfavestoner 11-07-2010 08:59 PM

What is it with great Miami backs and horrific knee injuries.

Imagine what Frank Gore, McGahee, and Edge could have been if they never had suffered those injuries.

Ravens1991 11-07-2010 09:17 PM

Wasnt Gore unanimously the best out of all of them but had those terrible knee injuries?
