Cam Newton's Dad at NC Game?

http://network.yardbarker.com/colleg...e_game/3945642 Cam searched threw the Crowd and found this man and hugged him, Whats wrong with that? The Man looks really like Cam's Father who was not allowed to be at the game.

The stupidity continues. He was absolutely allowed to be there.

The issue isn't that he was or wasn't allowed to be there, which Danny was mistaken on.

The Auburn AD said that it was mutually agreed upon that Cecil Newton would not attend the game, but Newton shows up to the game anyway. That signals either a disconnect between Cecil Newton and the Auburn office or shows that Newton is willing to ignore Auburn's restrictions and go behind their back. Not a positive light in the wake of the pay-for-play allegations.

This wouldn't be an issue if the AD never said anything, and no one would mind if Cecil Newton is there. Auburn created this controversy themselves.

I heard that Cecil Newton didn't show up until late in the 4th quarter, so he wasn't there for most of the game.

I think it would be absolutely wrong for him not to be there. People can say it takes attention way from the game, but tha only happens if the media allows it to. There isn't a good reason to keep him away. If Cam is eligible to play, his father should be eligible to watch.

If I ws Cecil newton I would have been there, no matter what the Auburn AD said. Without a doubt one of the biggest moments of his childs life, not worth skipping to please the media or anyone at Auburn.

If he hadn't attended, i would have been shocked. Its why when the commentators were saying cam newtons father is enjoying the game from the comfort of a hotel in the phoenix area, i was like theres no way hes not somewhere at that game. no way, auburn AD is not the fbi director, there are little to no ramifications of him attending so why not, especially if cams declaring anyway.

Sneaked in.

Want to bet Auburn comped him a ticket?

Musberger was wrong. And wrong in being a Newton apologist in his halftime knobslobber. ESPN never lets rules infractions get in the way of game hype.
