Which players are in their senior season in 2011?
Which players have to come out for the 2012 draft a which players are going to come out early?
|
For Notre Dame:
In final year of eligibility(in order of draftability): WR Michael Floyd DE Ethan Johnson OG Trevor Robinson OLB Darius Fleming CB Gary Gray CB Robert Blanton SS Harrison Smith RT Taylor Dever K David Ruffer Guys with eligibility remaining: ILB Manti Teo DE Kapron Lewis-Moore Ill edit in players I forgot |
Ohio State seniors:
QB Terrelle Pryor RB Dan Herron WR DeVier Posey LT Mike Adams C Mike Brewster RT JB Shugarts DE/OLB Nathan Williams WLB Andrew Sweat all those guys except maybe Shugarts and Sweat will be drafted, most of them fairly high (first 3 rounds). |
Florida State has Nigel Bragham at linebacker who could be a high pick. Greg Reid and Brandon Jenkins are juniors who could declare. If EJ Manuel had a huge year at QB I guess he could declare too.
|
For Iowa:
Will more than likely be drafted WR Marvin McNutt OT Markus Zusevics DE Broderick Binns DT Mike Daniels CB Shaun Prater Have strong potential to be drafted depending on '11 season TE Brad Herman (2010 draft first time since Ferentz took over that his starting TE didn't get drafted) OG Adam Gettis (if he can stay healthy) LB Tyler Nielsen |

Isn't Riley Reiff really good? Why wasn't he included in your list of Iowa guys? |

Pretty sure he's a redshirt junior now because people were talking about him possibly coming out for the draft we just had.
But yeah, Reiff's definitely coming out next year unless he has a complete abortion of a season. |
Thanks Guys, muchly appreciated :)

Andrew Luck is really a Senior because this will be his Fourth Year but he is a Red Shirt Junior but once he gets his Degree in the Spring of 2012 he will Declare for the 2012 NFL Draft.

And you shut your dirty whorish mouth. Riley Reiff will dominate this fall and immediately decide to come back and dominate his senior season as well. Seriously though, he will probably come out. I don't like the look of it with some of the senior OTs at this point, but if he has a good year he should be a top 20 guy. |

Seniors for FSU include....
LT Andrew Datko - Right now he's getting praise, once NFL teams see his injury history I am guessing at best a 5th-7th rounder. RT Zebrie Sanders - When he arrived Rick Trickett said he had the potential to be a First Rounder, now that he is entering his senior season I think he could go in the top 100 picks. He could really help himself with a productive, injury free senior season. G - David Spurlock - Missed a lot of 2010, has concussion issues, at best a 7th Rounder. LB - Nigel Bradham - He was the #1 LB out of HS per Rivals and I believe Scout, has not lived up to lofty expectations. However he is a physical freak and work out warrior. Has improved every year and was a lone bright spot on a woeful 2009 defense as a Sophomore. Has ideal NFL size, with a breakout year could go in the top 50 picks. DB Terrance Parks - UFA barring something phenomenal, as he could lose his job to a freshman by season's end (5* Karlos Williams). P Shawn Powell - I never speculate as to where a K/P may be drafted, he has a strong leg and is fairly good at pinning opponents inside the 20. I could see him making an NFL roster in 2012. At best a 6th rounder. WR Bert Reed - Three year starter who has made some brilliant plays but whom has been woefully inconsistent while at FSU. He projects as a Slot WR in the NFL and should spend most of his time there this season. In 2010 he played out of position a lot as Willie Haulstead and Rodney Smith broke in. TE Beau Reliford - If he makes it back he will be an intriguing prospect to some NFL teams because of his size. He became a really good blocker in 2010 and is a decent athlete. I could see someone take a flier on him, but most likely an UFA. WR Taiwan Easterling - Likely won't be back in 2011 as he will be a high MLB pick and is expected to pursue baseball. He is a lot like Bert Reed butIf you could give Reed his consistency or give Easterling Reed's speed, you'd have a nice 3rd-4th round prospect. However you can't and at best he would be a 7th Rounder as he doesn't have great speed. RS-Juniors QB E.J. Manuel - A hybrid of Cam Newton and Christian Ponder who I believe will have NFL Scouts drooling in 2013. He has shown flashes of brilliance in considerable action and is 6-2 as a starter with 2 NYD bowl wins. Expected to have a breakout season, but due to loyalty to Fisher I see little chance he comes out, unless he wins a Heisman and MNC. S Nick Moody - If he could learn coverage schemes he would be a high level prospect. However as it stands right now he'll be backing up Lamarcus Joyner in 2011 and will likely be asked to graduate. Also to say there will be character concerns would be a major understatement. LB Vince Williams - Will split time with Jeff Luc, IMO his injury history will prevent any chance at a NFL career. Not to mention he doesn't have the speed necessary to begin to play LB in the NFL, and IMO should have been groomed into a DE and not a LB. Juniors/RS-Sophmores CB Xavier Rhodes - Likely First Round pick in 2012. CB Greg Reid - Major size concerns, one of those types of players who could go in Round 1 because a team falls in love with him and overlooks his size. DE Brandon Jenkins - Tweener at the next level, based off a stellar 2010 is in a lot of Mock First Rounds right now. I think he'll stay through 2012 as he needs to fill out into a DE a bit more and can do so in FSU's S&C program. |
