Tragic and Terrible.

CoD hasn't been released but it sounds like his depression issues were significant. They can happen to anyone and it's better not to find a way to deal with them sooner than later.

Horrible news. Rumors were rampant that he was in deep with drugs, so I'm thinking that was the cause of death, being an accidental or planned overdose.

The guy had the talent to be a future high draft pick after converting from TE. He was a good LT as a RS freshman at Tennessee and earned Freshman All-American honors, and looked like his future was bright. Then he surprisingly wanted out when Dooley took over and transferred. It seemed like he was going through an early adult life crisis. He even started trying to rap, which didn't go so well. Then he transferred to Bama, which stung, but I still figured he could become a starter at one of the OT spots by his senior year, if not this year. That could certainly garner the attention to become a commodity... Just so tragic to see a life that had so much to live for be extinguished like this.

They've printed an apology, realizing how completely douchey they came across but a good number of their followers are keeping it real in the comments section.

ESPN is a maggot infested turd farm.

Feel terrible for that kid's family.

Out of respect for his family I think it's highly inappropriate to be speculating suicide at this point unless you knew him personally
