Bryant McKinnie signs contract with the Baltimore Ravens. Terms are not know but expected to be one or two year deal.

Ravens1991 08-23-2011 03:58 PM

McKinnie probably singed a cheaper deal, but yeah I agree with you. Let's just hope he doesn't play...

Ravens1991 08-23-2011 04:03 PM

yea but I doubt Gaithers deal at KC was a big deal since it was like 1-2 years. I never will understand the obession the coaching staff has of keeping Oher at LT.

I saw some crying on the Chargers board about how we took DT Liuget and CB Marcus Gilchrist instead of Prince/Austin. Year 1 is never any indication of success but still an interesting happenstance.

I'm pretty sure we signed Gaither for 1 year and for not much more than the Vet minimum.

I'm pretty sure everyone's head swivels when you enter the room

vidae 08-23-2011 04:38 PM

I'm 100% sure that everyone messes their drawers when you do.

In the good way.

niel89 08-23-2011 04:48 PM

Gaither only got a one-year contract with the Chiefs for just $685,000. I bet he didn't expect that.

lol Fred Thomas is so terrible.

V.I.P 08-23-2011 09:54 PM

I had a friend who was a Saints fan, and he always stuck up for Fred Thomas. lol

nepg 08-24-2011 10:01 AM

So, uhhh... Thomas Jones sucker punched Jonathan Baldwin. Yeah.

Jamaalzzz and Baldwin were getting into it (over some rookie hazing in the weight room that Baldwin didn't appreciate) and roid rage Jones comes over and sucker punches Baldwin, who broke his thumb when he fired back.

Perfect picture for how I'm feeling right now.

You gotta respect Baldwin too, for not saying what really happened and let it stay in house. What an immature diva we have on our hands here.

BeerBaron 08-24-2011 12:35 PM

He should have just accepted that rookie hazing.

Agreed, it's only going to alienate him from teammates.

D-Bo took it like a man.

Jvig43 08-24-2011 01:19 PM

When I played football I just took it as well, the hazing was all minor stuff unless you tried to fight it or went against it. I think I was the least picked on freshmen my first year in high school football because I started out just saying ok to that stuff.

Eh...I think he just got tired of it. I believe it was Jamaalzzzz that acted like he was throwing a medicine ball at Baldwinning...and that set it off.

O noezzzz not a medicine ball...

vidae 08-24-2011 02:37 PM

The point you're missing is that most of you defended Jones when this first came to light, saying things like "Oh, well Cedric Benson WAS a ***** anyway!" and "Well Baldwin IS a diva, LOL!!!". It turns out that Jones started it in the first place, and now it's "Well, Baldwin SHOULD have done this or that!".. are you people ******* serious?

Thomas Jones is SUCH A GREAT LEADER, right? So RESPECTED in the locker room. So he sucker punches a teammate without provocation. And you think that this is good LEADERSHIP from a VETERAN.

I'm sick of Jones running like he doesn't care and I'm sick of watching him run to the sideline like his ass is on fire, and now he's sucker punching teammates. What a piece of ****. Larry Johnson 2.0, except his assaults are on teammates and not women.

Anyone need a washed up, over the hell RB who can't break tackles and can't settle a dispute without violence? Anyone?

How do you know this?

Maybe I missed something but from what I understood nobody is talking about what exactly happened.

Where did you see this? Link plz

vidae 08-24-2011 02:45 PM

I know because you're going off reports from Nick Wright, and I'm going off of reports by anyone else.

He doesn't report the truth, he reports what he wants to report and wants to call it news. He also likes to call himself an insider. None of these things are true.

Actually I'm going off of what Adam Schefter had to say on the matter and he backed up what Nick said.

If you have some kinda other news on the matter that you would like to share with the rest of us via a link/source I would be glad to see it.

Jim Irsay: So we signed Kerry Colllins...

<bong rip>

@NFL: Championship!

Collins can be good. All he needs is a dominant defense and an overpowering rushing attack...
