oh yeah, Santana Moss resigned with the Redskins. lol

AdamSchefter @Adam Schefter
Santana Moss reaches agreement with Washington on a 3-yr deal for $15 million with $5 million signing bonus and $6 million guaranteed.

Pat Sims 90 07-26-2011 05:15 PM

Santana Moss headed back to Washington. Just said on ESPN

M.O.T.H. 07-26-2011 05:17 PM

Rams and Mikell agree to 4 year deal.

A lot of safeties out there...the money on this one is going to be important.

BeerBaron 07-26-2011 05:17 PM

The Redskins and Vikings have agreed to the terms of a trade for McNabb, only if McNabb agrees to a new contract.

Carolina payed top dollar to keep both Gamble and Gross when they were free agents a couple of years ago. They love to pay to keep their young talent. If Johnson plays like he played last year well worth it IMO.

GoRavens 07-26-2011 05:20 PM

Just Sayin, I want Nmadi and Osi on the Ravens.
I know it'll never happen, but I can dream

M.O.T.H. 07-26-2011 05:22 PM

Nothing concrete but Dallas was the first team to contact S Abram Elam today. The fit just makes too much sense not to happen.

Jimmy 07-26-2011 05:23 PM

Carolina signs Charles Johnson 6 Years 72 Million. Great news for Broncos fans looking to land DeAngelo Williams. Highly unlikely they can afford both now.

Giantsfan1080 07-26-2011 05:24 PM

Johnson probably deserves its own thread.

Come on BB I expect this from someone who's team didn't play him twice a year but you?

Favre was the QB by the time you got Percy, Rice wasn't starting until Favre was QB. I'm not saying that TJax was good in the time he played, he wasn't, but they kept benching him whenever they could for whatever old washed up white guy they could get their hands on.

It's similar to Alex Smith in that, while he hasn't been good, it's hard to be good when you look at the situation he keeps finding himself in.

DoughBoy 07-26-2011 05:26 PM

only the Redskins would sign Santana moss to that kind of money

And some people doubted 5-80 for Asa.

if you guys added aso to jimmy smith, who i think is going to be a great nfl corner, you guys would have a rediculous defense.

Where would you put osi for you guys? i feel like hes a tad small to be an end for you guys but idk if hes good/athletic enough in space to cover guys in the flat. maybe play him as an end in nickel/dime packages, stand him up with suggs against heavy offenses? man you guys would be scary....

Yeah you're right with Harvin I'm a moron. Rice was still getting plenty of time when T-Jack was starting though, it's not like he just instantly improved that much between those two years, QB play played a huge part. And we're also talking 2008 here which is before Berrian sucked so he had some weapons.

T-Jack has just always been a one read quarterback. We dumb down the offense for him and he still couldn't figure it out. If the first receiver wasn't open it was an immediate check down or he just panicked and tucked the ball and ran. One read quarterbacks don't even work in college much less the NFL.

Good, the Ravens needed to keep Yanda in the worst way.

you serious? im quite happy with that deal. good value imo actually. 3 year 15 m with only 1 year guaranteed. for a guy coming off a very solid year and a locker room leader. loved by the young guys.

diabsoule 07-26-2011 05:32 PM

The Ravens have agreed to a deal with Marshal Yanda

Rice went from 3 starts in 2008 and 15 receptions to 83 in 2009 with Favre when he broke out.

Anyway, I don't see him being good in Seattle, but I also don't think Minnesota was the best situation either.

General Zod 07-26-2011 05:33 PM

Do you think Santana Moss knows who John Beck is? lol

They are an organization that went 1-15 and drafted Cam Newton with the 1st pick. They suck at their jobs.

That's what I'm saying lol, Rice was always good. Jackson didn't let him show it. I can't tell you how many passes he threw at his feet.

Clayton said this was a massive deal. Oh god, Free is going to cost way too much. But it will get done.

Gotta see the numbers on the Yanda and Mikell deals.

diabsoule 07-26-2011 05:34 PM

Looks like Noel Devine is going to sign with Philly

This is true, lets not forget Brad Childress was running the offense too. lol

bearsfan_51 07-26-2011 05:36 PM

Tavaris Jackson is awful. I think Rex Grossman is much better.
